Memeja

Memeja is a non-player character in Final Fantasy XIV. She appeared during the seasonal event Moonfire Faire in 2024.

History[]

At Gegeruju's request, Memeja traveled to Costa del Sol to take part in the Moonfire Faire celebrations. Memeja couldn't bear the thought of her beloved pet cactuars missing out on the fun and festivities, so she took them with her. She met up with Gegeruju but when she stepped away from the pets to have a drink, the pets went crazy and Gegeruju couldn't control them. They fled and started causing trouble on the Costa del Sol. Memeja ran up to the Warrior of Light, Beaudefoin and P'obyano who were trying to find out what the source of the trouble was. Memeja apologized and explained the situation.^[1]

After locating one of the cactuars, they managed to calm him down using the uchiwa fans that were being used at the celebration. The party split up to locate and calm the cactuars. After all the cactuars had been captured and calmed down. The party returned to inform Haermaga Bleibornsyn. While theorizing about what could have caused the pets to go berserk, Gegeruju comments that they went crazy after he shared a bottle of wine with the cactuars without Memeja's knowledge. Haermaga was grateful that Warrior of Light had resolved the crisis before any of the fair's participants had been hurt.^[2]
