Overall, I guess I liked it... ish... Maybe? Hmm...
There were things that I enjoyed, the idea mainly, and even Kane at the beginning. I enjoyed the plot twist, it was a bit unexpected and appreciated (why I gave it 3 stars, not less).
But well, those first days, they were too long and boring and damn long!
I admit, I was curious. I expected Kane to be a badass from the beginning 'til the end (but guess what? That didn't happen!). Of course, he ended up being the good guy. I know, I shouldn't have been surprised, but for some reason, I expected something more from this author (courage? Maybe it's too much to ask).
I want a story where the bad guy stays bad and the chick accepts him as is or she gets the fu*k out. Or I want a good reason for his/her personality to change, not the usual.
Basically, I expected something different and all I got was the same old story, good girl bad guy, good girl good guy, happily ever after. Not a bad concept, but nothing special either.

Sorry it didn't do anything for you, Denisa. I loved it and then all of my friends hated it. I must have read it wrong. ;)

Are the other books in the series within the same lines, have you continued the series?

I did read on, Denisa. I liked number 2, hated number 3, and then loved numbers 4 & 5. I didn't go on after that because the next one was about the couple from number 3 again and I hated them.... well, her. She was an ass. ;)
