Strigo Wraist is a major antagonist in the 2020 WattPad fanfiction, Jake's Heroic, Critical, Bizarre Adventures. He was once the 9th King of the New Roman Empire in the 24th century of his world, he was cruel, xenophobic, greedy, malicious, and doesn't have a heart filled with remorse, as he described himself. He was infamously despised by his people not only for his abuse and slavery against them, but to outbreak and wage war against the opposing countries near Romania, which were Ukraine and Bulgaria.

The final straw came to be when he brutally tortured a pregnant woman from Ukraine, cutting her belly open that killed her unborn child, which came to be Foeticide. Enraged by this true act of cruelty called upon both Ukraine and Bulgaria together, Strigo prepared his army to fight against the rival countries while the latter fought against them in vengeance - Having enough of the treachery he started. However, he later escapes the war he breakout upon when he was nearly killed by a soldier, who happened to be the husband of the pregnant woman he tortured.

With his announced exile and being dethroned after Ukraine took over, Strigo swore revenge but on his way to look for another source of power, he comes across a cavern that guarded a sacred stone that couldn't be touched. When he desperately took it, the Curse Stone transformed and cursed the heartless king into the very first monstrosity in his universe's existence, an undead zombie.

He would later use this opportunity to curse the entire kingdoms of Romania, Ukraine, and Bulgaria alike, turning everyone into mindless zombies that are unwilled and mindless to his control. Before he could take over his universe, it suddenly got mixed into the New World thanks to Delnos who stole a portion of the Crossixior's essence to form an alliance between each other.

After a week, he kidnapped thousands of people and curse them into becoming zombies for both his army and for slavery alike. Thus creating the Undead Impero.

He serves as the main antagonist for the first half of Season 2 (alongside Delnos), which included the focus for the Undead Impero Arc.

Trivia[]

• He shares similarities and is also most likely inspired on Nekron from the DC Comics.
• His full name represents as a symbolic description. Strigo is actually strigoi (which is also his other alias), that means "undead" in Romanian, which kind fits his appearance. While Wraist is a combination of two names regarding wraith and poltergeist, which are two other words for spirit or ghost, it also resembles his abilities.
