Daedalus is the main antagonist of the parody series, Sonic Destruction.
He is an immortal scientist who takes over Shadow the Hedgehog's body and brainwashed Sonic with the goal of fulfilling a prophecy he wrote thousands of years ago that will destroy the planet in order to get revenge on those he blames for his species' downfall.
He is the overarching antagonist of Part 1 and the main antagonist of Part 2.
He is voiced by Scout Young, who also voiced Actual Satan in Real-Time Fandub Games.
Biography[]
Origins[]
While much of Daedalus's past is unknown, it is known that he has been around a long time and wrote the Book of Prophecies thousands of years ago that included a prophecy that described the world's doom.
At some point, he aided the government in both the Daedalus project, which created an incarnation of Satan, Silver the Hedgehog, and the Shadow project, which created a PS2 that could control Shadow when playing the Shadow the Hedgehog video game.
At some point, Daedalus's species was wiped out by the government, who then framed Dr. Eggman for the act, causing Daedalus to swear vengeance on the Robotnik family.
Sonic Destruction[]
After Sonic is killed by The Ultimate Lifeform, Daedalus revives him as a human for some reason and sends him to defeat the mayor, Jason King, which he does, prompting his friends to investigate him.
After a while, Sonic's friends uncover the PS2 and hope to use it to stop the prophecy and save Sonic. Meanwhile, Sonic manages to escape his mind control after helping Amy and goes to Shadow, Rouge and Team Chaotix to get help with changing back. Daedalus takes control over Shadow at that moment and attempts to manipulate Sonic and his friends into joining him, only for them to refuse. Daedalus then rants about Sonic's stupidity and accidentally reveals his true identity.
Upon seeing this, Sonic, Rouge, and Team Chaotix confront him and Daedalus reveals his true form and has his army of kid soldiers capture the group before revealing his backstory.
At the end of Part 2, Gerald reveals the truth about Daedalus to Jason before revealing that Silver is the incarnation of Satan, leaving Jason and the rest of Sonic's friends to slowly turn on each other.

- Daedalus's appearance is never described in detail, but multiple fanarts portray him as looking similar to Shadow, due to possessing him.
- He is implied to be AI Dungeon's adaption of Black Doom.
