The Guard of Thunder is a minor antagonist in Mortal Kombat 1. She is an amalgamation of Raiden and Li Mei who serves as a member of Titan Shang Tsung's Order of Darkness.
Much like her counterpart, she is voiced by Kelly Hu.
History[]
The Guard of Thunder is an evil version of Li Mei with Raiden's powers. In Mortal Kombat 1's final chapter, Armageddon, she is a potential enemy to the selectable Final Warrior. She confronts the Final Warrior in a one round fight, and once beaten, she is left on the ground, presumably dead.

- The name Guard of Thunder is a pun on Raiden's classic title as the God of Thunder.
