Biography[]
Background[]
Connie's early life is unclear but she worked for the government and alongside Martin Brenner on his investigations on The Upside Down. It is unknown if she was already working for him when Vecna was sent in The Upside Down by Eleven after the massacre he caused in the lab.
Role[]
After burger restaurant owner Benny Hammond found Eleven stealing food in the kitchen, he calls the Social Services, but his call is heard by Connie and her crew. Meanwhile, he takes care of the child and sympathies with her. In the evening, she goes in person to the restaurant and poses as the social worker Benny had on the phone. He let her inside and goes searching Eleven, but before he can do so, Connie takes her silenced gun out of her purse and shoots him, killing him. Afterwards, two men of her crew tries to capture Eleven, but she kills them and runs away before Brenner’s arrival on the scene.
The following day, her and a colleague informs Brenner of a call to the police they listened into last night. The three listened back to a tape recording of the phone call, in which Joyce Byers informed the Hawkins PD secretary, Florence, about her youngest son's disapperance.
In search of Eleven’s whereabouts, Connie goes to see Middle School teacher Scott Clarke, this time impersonating a woman from a fictitious Indiana AV Club program, complete with a falsified flier. Knowing that Eleven was with three boys and following the tip-off of her undercover colleague, she asks if Clarke knew someone who might be interested, he told her about Mike, Dustin and Lucas.
That afternoon, Brenner, Connie and a crew of agents went to the Wheeler House, but the boys and Eleven manages to escape before their arrival. While the other agents are searching the house, Connie questions Ted and Karen Wheeler, but soon finds out that they are totally unaware of Eleven’s existence.
Later, Joyce and Sheriff Jim Hopper are caught into breaking in the lab. While Brenner questions Joyce, Connie and fellow agents tortures Hopper to learn what he knows. He and Connie finally ends up with a deal: they provide equipment so he and Joyce can go retrieve Will Byers in the Upside Down and in exchange of their silence on the lab’s activities and Brenner and Connie letting the boys go, he will reveal Eleven’s location. They accept the deal.
The lab’s scientists provides the equipment to Hopper and Joyce while Brenner and Connie leaves to go to Hawkins Middle School. When warned of them coming, the group looks for a way out, but are cornered by Connie and a few other agents. While pointing their guns at then, Eleven uses her telekinetic powers to crush and destroy their enemies’ brains. Connie and her fellow agents starts crying blood before collapsing, immediately killed, avenging Benny’s death.
