Clamp is a Lieutenant Junior Grade in the Principality of Zeon military and a supporting antagonist in the 1979 anime series Mobile Suit Gundam, as well as the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin manga.
In the original series, he was voiced by the late Kōji Totani, the late Kaneto Shiozawa, and the late Shōzō Iizuka in the episodes 12, 16, and 17 respectively.
History[]
Clamp served in the Zeon military in Ramba Ral's squadron, acting as his right-hand man and strategist. He accompanied the other members of Ral's team in their mission to take White Base to avenge the death of Garma Zabi.
Clamp was able to locate the White Base for Ral's squadron so they could begin their campaign against it. He later attempts to infiltrate the White Base, only to be found and shot to death.
