The Cheese Monster is the main antagonist of the A Pup Named Scooby-Doo episode, "Wanted Cheddar Alive".
He was voiced by Jim Cummings.
History[]
Larry P. Acme is a businessman who owns the Acme Dog Biscuit company. He was envious of the success of the Scooby Snack Factory and wanted them out of business. So he disguised himself as the Cheese Monster to sabotage the Scooby Snack Factory.
In the beginning of the episode two workers at the Scooby Snack Factory notices something strange in the cheese lab. They go inside and finds the Cheese Monster. Terrified all of the employees at the factory runs out of the building and leaves. At Shaggy's home Scooby and Shaggy discovers that their supply of Scooby Snacks are empty and they go to the nearby mall. There they see that the shop is all out of Scooby Snacks too. Daphne, Fred and Velma comes to Scooby and Shaggy and they see on the news that Constance McSnack (the owner of the Scooby Snack Factory) says that until the Cheese Monster is captured there'll be no more Scooby Snacks and the gang decides to go to the factory. When they get there the police has searched but didn't find the monster. Constance McSnack cries in despair but Larry P. Acme shows up and says that she can work at his factory. The gang asks Constance some question but later gets shunned away and Constance and Larry leaves.
The gang enters the factory and splits up to search for clues. They go inside the cheese lab and sees that it's covered in cheese. Velma finds the top secret formula to Scooby Snacks and Fred opens a door and sees the Cheese Monster. The gang runs to a dead end with the Cheese Monster standing in front of them. They luckily get away and the gang splits up to search for clues. Scooby, Shaggy and Velma runs away from the Cheese Monster and meets up with Fred and Daphne again.
Later they see someone run in the corridoor and runs after. They capture a man named Boris Roquefort a former employee. The gang accuse him for being the Cheese Monster and he runs away. The gang follows but quickly meets the Cheese Monster. The Cheese Monster chases them around the factory and captures everyone but Scooby, one by one. Scooby saves them but gets locked in a room with the Cheese Monster. The gang hear slurping noises and fear the worst.
But suddenly a man in his underwear and the Cheese Monster mask on his head runs out from the room. They figures out that Scooby ate the cheese costume and Velma catches the man. They unmask him with the police and Mrs. McSnack there. He is revealed to be Larry P. Acme. The gang explains everything and learns that Boris Roquefort has been hired back. Larry P. Acme gets arrested and the gang leaves with a lifetime supply of Scooby Snacks.

- The Cheese Monster is one of the most popular and recognizable monsters from the A Pup Named Scooby-Doo series, along with the Sludge Monster from the Earth's Core, Green Ghoul, Chickenstein and Ghost of Al Cabone, just to name a few.
- In the intro to A Pup Named Scooby-Doo, the Cheese Monster appears three times.
