Ernie the Giant Chicken is the secondary antagonist in the animated sitcom Family Guy. He is one of the arch-enemies of Peter Griffin, whom his fights with Ernie caused many chaos, deaths, and destruction around Quahog.
He is voiced by Danny Smith.

- After Peter Griffin stared the whole beef between him over an expired coupon. He's been antagonizing him starting other fights between him out of nowhere to kill his rival.
- He killed dozens of people and caused many destructions of the environment while fighting with Peter Griffin throughout Quahog, although it could be considered unintentional, since his main primary target was Peter and no one else.
- Even after being saved from almost dying of bird flu by Peter, Ernie still went on to antagonize Peter and never thanked him.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- His worst act on the show is trying to "kill the heroes", which isn't enough for him to pass the baseline and causing him to fail the heinous standards compared to other characters who did worse like Glenn Quagmire, Carter Pewterschmidt, and especially Peter Griffin, who blew up children's hospitals, and has been a terrible and abusive influence to his family and everyone else around him, especially Meg Griffin.
- He isn’t always considered malicious, as proven when he was willing to take Peter Griffin out to dinner with his wife after their third fight and when he was bonding with his son by taking him to a museum while Peter was fighting Donald Trump.
- He can be considered a scapegoat, such as getting brutally defeated by Peter with very hot boiling water poured on him and his wife was willing to leave him for a bigger cock when he got the bird flu.
- Being from a comedic show that heavily relies on crude humor, he really isn't supposed to be taken seriously most of the time, even if he's shown as less comedic than the many other characters.
- He relies on fridge horror, as he likely didn't know or intend the damage that he caused while fighting with Peter.
- Despite his mutual hatred of Peter, he had a genuine friendship with his wife, Lois.
