Bonnie the Rabbit, better known as Bonnie the Bunny, is a major antagonist in the 2023 horror-supernatural Blumhouse film Five Nights at Freddy's, based on the video game franchise of the same name.

He is an animatronic blue rabbit who is the guitarist of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. One of the pizzeria's four main attractions, it is revealed that he and his friends come to life at nighttime and kill anybody that comes after hours, including night guards that may be working there.

He is voiced by Jade-Kindar Martin.

For a long time, he assisted the other animatronics in hunting down and murdering night guards that work at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, thus being indirectly responsible for the deaths of the unlucky night guard from the beginning of the film and numerous others.
He hides in a closet to wait for Hank, only to murder him and create a pool of blood when he wanders inside (although he deserves it.)
Alongside the other Animatronics, he tries to kidnap Mike's sister, Abby, to turn her into an animatronic like them.

Why Doesn't He Stand Out?[]

He plays a far too indirect role in the various night guard murders to pass the Heinous Standard, especially since we don't know how many victims the animatronics claimed. Not to mention he does nothing but follow the orders of William Afton and Golden Freddy. This proved he relies on Fridge Horror.
Since he's explicitly stated to be controlled by Afton into murdering people, and that he'd never want to hurt anyone, he is brainwashed into evil and thus has moral agency issue.
He is tragic as he was an innocent child who was kidnapped by William Afton only to be killed and forcibly turned into an animatronic where his withered body has been trapped for decades and forced to remain in the pizzeria.
He is an anti-villain with an understandable goal of wanting to get revenge on his murderer, who would almost definitely plan to continue his actions.
He seems care for the other Animatronics as he wants to get revenge for not just what happened to him, but also his friends as well.
He develops care for Abby and starts to become friends with her. While him and the others do try to kill her, it is because they want her spirit to remain with them so they can continue to be friends forever.
Unlike Golden Freddy, he is insufficiently characterized due to having no speaking lines or clear personality, other than acting like the other animatronics.
