Chica the Chicken is a major antagonist in Scott Cawthon's Five Nights at Freddy's franchise.
She is a yellow animatronic chicken and child's performer housed at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, serving as the backup singer of the animatronic band, alongside her bandmates Freddy and Bonnie. Although she may appear as a gluttonous but lovable animatronic, Chica was actually possessed by a girl's soul named Susie, one of the five juvenile victims murdered by William Afton. As a result, Chica actively sought revenge against her killer by attacking any adults in the pizzeria after-hours in blind rage.
Her withered form is voiced by Darbi Logan.

- She was heavily implied to have killed numerous security nightguards before the events of the first game.
- She tried to kill William Afton, Jeremy Fitzgerald, Fritz Smith and Michael Afton by stuffing their corpses into animatronic suits, which is stated to be a painful process. While the first one is justifiable, the latter three aren't.
- She tried to kill Ralph and, even if she didn't do it directly, she was still involved in his death.
- Her "redemption" in the third game does not count as one, as she only stops being evil without actually turning into a good person.
Why She Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- Since her killing numerous nightguards is both fridge horror and off-screen villainy, she is a generic "kill-the-heroes" villain. Even if her murder method is especially painful, she massively fails the heinous standards and it still pales in comparison to the Funtime animatronics (out of whom only Circus Baby passes the Heinous Standard), who induced a fate worse than death on Michael.
- She is incredibly tragic, as she was once an innocent girl who was murdered by William before being revived in what's implied to be a fate worse than death.
- She is a villain by proxy, as she doesn't even want to be an animatronic and simply wants to move on to the afterlife after she has accomplished her revenge.
- She is a well-intentioned extremist and an anti-villain, as all she wants is to avenge her death and stop others from suffering the same fate she did, and the only reason she targets innocent people is because she genuinely didn't know they're not William himself.
- She does genuinely care for her friends Freddy, Bonnie and Foxy.
