Why do you hide inside your walls, when there is music in my halls? All I see is an empty room, no more joy, an empty tomb. It's so good to sing all day, to dance, to spin, to fly away.
~ Ballora singing.
All I do is dance alone, but now I hear your flesh and bones. I roam these halls alone all day, but now you're here, friend and prey.
~ Ballora in Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location's custom night.

Ballora is one of the four secondary antagonists (alongside Bon-Bon, Funtime Foxy, and Funtime Freddy) in Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location, the fifth mainline installment of the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise. She is also an unseen antagonist in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator and a posthumous antagonist for the rest of the series.

She is a humanoid ballerina animatronic who was made by William Afton to capture and kill children. She ultimately teams up with the other Funtime animatronics to escape the location they're imprisoned in.

Ballora was voiced by Michella Moss.

Her Villainous Deeds[]

  • Alongside Circus Baby, Funtime Foxy, Funtime Freddy, and Bon-Bon, Ballora conspired to have Michael Afton go to the Scooping Room, where he would have his insides ripped out so that the Funtimes, after merging into a hybrid called Ennard, could enter his body and wear him as a skinsuit, while being fully aware he will live in a fate worse than death.
    • The fact Ballora has been scooped and lived proved she was aware Mike would also live. Even if she didn't, she most certainly learned it after seeing him get up once Ennard escaped from his body, and remained apathetic.
  • Ballora tried to kill Michael on Nights 2 and 5.
  • It's implied Ballora sent the Minireenas to kill Mike on Night 4.
  • She helped Baby hang two technicians to manipulate HandUnit. Given how Ballora was apparently controlling Ennard at the time, this might mean that she was the one to kill them directly, or at least the one in her gallery.
  • With the help of Freddy, Foxy, and Bon-Bon, she overthrew Baby and ejected her out of Ennard, although to be fair this was justified given her cruel treatment of them.
  • Due to being part of Molten Freddy, it's likely that she supported Freddy in trying to murder the kids at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place, although this wasn't confirmed.
  • While it's true William Afton created her to capture and kill children, she managed to gain full, human-like sapience and outgrow her programming, gaining moral agency, especially since she recognized that what Baby was doing was wrong.
  • Although the Minireenas were made to be Ballora's assistants, she doesn't seem to really care for them given that she simply discarded them after escaping the facility as Ennard.
  • Despite her being active alongside Bon-Bon, Funtime Foxy, and Funtime Freddy in Molten Freddy, nothing implies that she remotely cares about them.

Why Doesn't She Stand Out?[]

  • Similar to Bon-Bon and Funtime Foxy, while she does pass the baseline, she fails the Heinous Standard too much for NPE as she does nothing but follow Baby's orders, and unlike Freddy, lacks any additional crimes that could boost her up.
    • Additionally, she relies on Fridge Horror as it is unclear if she wanted to assist Funtime Freddy. Even if she was assisting Freddy in his attempted child massacre, that would still be just assisting Freddy without anything new or independent.
  • She has a sympathetic backstory of being tortured and mistreated by the employees of Afton Robotics. This would motivate her into agreeing to the Ennard plan, and unlike Funtime Freddy's senseless child massacre, nothing proves Ballora moved past her tragedy.
