Vespa (베스파, Beseupa, literally in Italian: "Wasp") is a Regular that climbed the Tower as a member of Team Ship. Her position is a Scout and front-liner combatant with a pretty good combat skill.
Appearance & Personality[]
Vespa is a humanoid insect with half of her body has an anatomy of a wasp insect. She has yellow wasp wings, 2 small yellow antenna on her head, also the big black-yellow bee abdomen with stinger on her back. She is small, squat and very short, only half of Ship Leesoo's waist. She has luminous grey hair, with a matching fur coat. She carries a poisonous Needle weapon in the form of honey-colored clubs. Sometimes she was seen carrying a honey jar as her food, as well as the antidote for the poison of her needles.
Vespa's personality is quite arrogant and rude. She sees Human as a lowly creature and weak being. She thinks very highly of herself and will brag about her skills and underestimate her enemy.

The Workshop Battle: One Shot, One Opportunity
Vespa and Leesoo went through the sewers to break through inside the FUG hotel ground floor and they noticed the confrontation between Hatsu and Beniamino Cassano. They came up and were confronted by Yuto. Vespa engaged her and they fought evenly for some minutes while Leesoo collaborated Laure's Shinsu blast and a drill that attacked from below ground. The four of them combined attacks and pushed Yuto into a corner. Vespa was about to finish her off when Jyu Viole Grace appeared and carried Yuto to safety.
She and Aleksai Amigochaz fought together to try to defeat Viole. They initially had the upper hand due to Reina sucking away Viole's Shinsu, enabling Amigochaz to throw Viole into Vespa. She meant to stab Viole, but her poison-coated needle was intercepted by Yuto, who threw herself in harm's way. She watched in amazement as Viole used his Thorn to defeat Amigochaz in one blow. She dashed and attempted to catch Viole unaware, but Viole was able to grab her needle and throw her into the ground. Leesoo told her to retreat and she gave him her honey to heal Yuto before the whole team left for Archimedes.
The Workshop Battle: Battle x Gamble
She was chosen for the 14th Round of the Plug Battle event and passed to the next round along with Verdi.

She was chosen as the vanguard for Team Ship and was assigned to group B.
The Workshop Battle: Thorn
Vespa defeat Boondawan
In the Development Tournament Vespa eliminated Boondawan from Team Bellux and unnamed regular girl, allowing Team Ship to qualify for the semifinals. During the event, she met Hatsu who was dressed like a Workshop Guard and was wounded. After appearing in Team Tangsooyook's room with Phonsekal Laure, Ja Wangnan, Yeon Yihwa, Hon Akraptor, and Rak Wraithraiser mistook her for a giant insect.
In the semifinals, she and Leesoo await in the field until an enemy appears. Vespa stopped Beta when he was heading towards the Item Summoning Center, where Wangnan and Quaetro Blitz awaits him. When Vespa tried to measure her speed against Beta, she was no match and was outrun by Beta. When Beta was about to finish Vespa, Rak blocked Beta's kick to defend Vespa.
The Workshop Battle: The Summoning
She briefly fought Beta alongside Rak and Yihwa before he flew off in pursuit of Wangnan. Vespa then went along with Akraptor and Quaetro to find Team Snake, but when they got to the place they should've been they encountered no-one.
The Workshop Battle: Closure
She and Leesoo went off in search of Novick after he was held hostage by Reflejo. They struggled to find him until Xia Xia decided to lend her aid. When all the hostages were found, some of them were put on Vespa's back and she flew them out of the cavern where they met up with Androssi Zahard and Viole's group. They were then challenged by a Ranker associated with FUG but, due to some unforeseen events elsewhere, the Ranker left quietly and they all escaped aboard the Floating Ship that was piloted by Quant Blitz.

She was seen with the rest of Ship's Team as they left to climb the Tower.

She was seen briefly alongside the rest of her team.
The Hell Train: The 'Name Hunt' Station
Vespa, along with other members of her team followed Androssi Zahard to the 39th Floor, in order to retrieve the name of the Kaiser at the Name Hunt Station. Accompanied by other teammates, Vespa witnessed Androssi' escape from Kaiser's residence after Androssi lost her name to Kaiser in a duel.
Powers and Abilities[]
Vespa is a skilled Regular fighter in close range combat because of the advantages of her fast speed movement while flying. She was able to fight evenly against Yuto. She is a talented scout, being able to spy some Regulars from Zahard's Army undetected.[2][3]
- Flight: Vespa has been shown to be able to fly using the gold wings on her back.
- Extraordinary Speed: Vespa can move around and fly at extreme speeds with her wings. She brags that there are no Regular who are faster than her. However, that was just a big lie because her speed was slower compared to Beta.[4]
Transformation[]
She stated that she is able to transform into an "adult stage". What benefits her adult form provides her with is unknown for now.[5]

- Poisonous Needle: Vespa carries a poisonous Needle weapon with unique design in the form of a wasp's abdomen with a large stinger. She used this Needle to physically attack her enemies. Sometimes she was seen carrying a "honey jar" as her food, but it is also an antidote to the poison on her needles. The antidote must be applied within 5 minutes, otherwise, the victim will die.[6]
Observer[]
Vespa's Observer takes form of wasp's abdomen with a large stinger and it can shoot Shinsu beams.[7]

- Even though she is assumed to be female, her gender is unconfirmed.
