I have been blogging for

EIGHT YEARS!!!

AMAZING...AMAZING!!!

My first blog post was on February 11th, 2007.

I share one little photo of our bedroom...

I was so proud of it!

Can I just tell you how wonderful it's been?

I have "met" so many precious friends

through this little blog.

Friends who've been with me through this entire journey even!

I've shared so many projects, things I've made and ideas as well.

I've been little lazy lately and haven't posted very frequently

but really do plan on getting back in the groove!

I already feel that 2015 is going to be a wonderful year

filled with goodness and promise.

I found a few Valentine's Day images to share!

I have a few projects in the making.

I'm working on a couple of treasure organizers!

One is a special order for a baby nursery and the other

will be up for sale in my Etsy shop when it's finished.

I still haven't gotten around to those needle books though!

I need make a tutorial for those because they make

such sweet little gifts...

It doesn't have to be just between a man and a woman you know ~

Love takes many forms and fills many hearts in different ways....

it could be a mama's love for her babies,

or even a daddy's love for his babies ~

it could be a teacher's love for her precious students...

it could be child's love for someone they respect and admire,

it could be a grandparent's love for their grandbaby,

it could be for someone you respect and admire...

it could be for a friend that has been there for you all of your life.

Love takes many forms.

Embrace it and enjoy it in whatever form it may come to you.

And always, always know one thing...

You are so loved by our Lord above enough so much so

that He would sacrifice His very own Son to die

so we could live in Heaven with Him...

This precious young married couple brings tears to my eyes...
their love is beautiful and reminds me of how I've always felt about my dear husband.

Valentine's Day is such a sweet day...
it makes us stop and remember how we are loved,
and how much we love those around us...

To my angel husband...I love you more than you will ever, ever know ~
to my five babies, you are my life and why I am here on this earth...
to my precious grandbabies, Clara and Murray,
you are more than I could have ever dreamed for!!!

This is a day for celebrating LOVE....

it could be romantic new love,

old married love :),

friendship love,

children love,

mama and daddy love....

but it really doesn't matter does it?

Celebrating love is always, ALWAYS a wonderful thing!!!

please don't ever feel left out...because if you love you can celebrate it!!!

I've got to share with you some goodness I received in the mail yesterday!

I'm a member of a book club because, yes, I am a sucker and love a bargain!!!!

Anyway, I am nearing the time were I needed to "fulfill" my obligation of 

buying a few more books at membership prices so here are a few I picked:

I chose this one specifically for my DIL Emily...she absolutely loves animals

and I know she's a farmgirl at heart! I hope it's good :)

And this one was chosen for me and my hubs both!

We love our cast iron skillet and LOVE using it to cook our grub...

by the way, did you know you can buy a SEASONED cast iron skillet at

Cracker Barrel in their gift shop area?

Anyway ~ maybe there will be something tasty inside ~

And this book I've been wanting for forever!!!

Lisa told me it was FAB and I already had it on my wish list

so I went ahead and ordered it :)

Well, I have GOT to show you a few peeks inside
because I just KNOW you will love it too ~
