"Steel Licks" was composed by Jeremy Wakefield. It is a series of 79 short cues played on a steel guitar introduced in season 2 with "Something Smells." The licks are commonly used to accentuate sad, happy or comical moments. Starting with "Ghoul Fools," the newer remake "Hot Steel and Slide Licks" has taken its place, with a few exceptions.
Alternate titles: "End Tag," "J. Wakefield Lick," "Pedal Steel," "Sad Steel," "Sad Steel Transition," "Sad Transition," "Steelrail Sting," "Steely Licks," "Steel Bend," "Steel Lick," "Steel Link," "Steel Sting," "Steel Sting 3," "Steel Sting 4," "Steel Sting 5," "Steel Trans," "Steel Trans 2," "Steel Trans 4," "Steel Transition," "Transition Steel," "Transition Link," "Lemon Sting"
