"Steel Licks 40" was composed by Jeremy Wakefield. It is the fortieth segment of the numerous "Steel Licks." It features a short steel guitar lick being played and it plays in many episodes, starting with season 2. Starting with "Glove World R.I.P.," this steel lick has been replaced by "Hot Steel and Slide Licks 17."
