Lisa Gets an F1 is the twelfth episode of Season 35.

Synopsis[]

Lisa feels a need for speed as well a need for control of her anxiety when she becomes a pro kid go-cart racer.

Plot[]

The race is the final lap. Another racer contacts Lisa, causing her to lose control and spins out but remains calm to regain her control. Two months earlier, in his car backseat, Lisa got scared and screams over Homer driving recklessly while heading to the Children's Therapy Center to see Annette. Homer and Marge attend to meet the therapist, Annette. When Homer gets angry, he leaves the therapy and drives recklessly again, and calls Annette over video chat. She told Homer to continue the conversation when he was not driving. Chief Wiggum pulls him over and Homer ends up crashing his car and flipping over.

Annette takes Lisa and Marge to the Funland Family Fun Center which has a go kart track. Lisa doesn’t want to drive and is scared. She then hit a gas, hit the tires, and screams before she can result in upset. She said: “See? I could have killed a tire.” But then, she has control and drives around a track.

In an episode of Kids Formula One: Karts of Thunder, hosted by Chester Arborday, he discusses Lisa and her family. Unlike other professional racers, he was surprised that Lisa was not rich. The episode then starts talking about Paolo Paoletti, who can beat Lisa. While they’re in the country, Paolo and other racers must attend Springfield Elementary School to continue their education. At the cafeteria in school, Paolo dislikes beanie weenies and is upset for not having his favorite lunch. Bart befriends Paolo and Luigi Risotto provided lunch for Bart and Paolo. Paolo then gives a hat and some cash to Bart.

Homer finishes his community service and watch Lisa race. He worried about Lisa when she traveled too fast than other racers. Lisa finishes the race. At home, Lisa ready to go to bed. Homer worried about Lisa because she put safety at risk. In his dream (parodies Mario Kart), Homer (as Wario) knocked Lisa (as Mario) off the track with a bomb. Back to normal reality, he wakes up that he was all his fault.

Lisa gets ready to head out for the race, but Homer tries to block Lisa from leaving the house due to the race is too dangerous and her anxiety racing and he had a bad dream last night. Despite being blocked from leaving the house, she leaves through a window instead. Lisa asks Marge to drive her car for the final race. Marge agrees to let her drive.

Before the race starts, Paolo betrays Bart after Marge revealed that his sister, Lisa. Both starts an argument with Italian and breaks Paolo’s heart. At home, Bart tells Homer why he is not watching Lisa race. He was too worried about Lisa’s safety. Bart receives a text from a group that Paolo had sabotaged Lisa’s go kart. Homer heading out to assist Lisa.

Back to the race, Lisa was hit by another racer and took control, but soon loses a wheel and control of wheel. The brake is also not working either. Annette is shocked when Lisa is about to be killed. Eventfully, Homer drove into the racing area and has come to save Lisa from a fatal accident. Homer slows her down while a go kart fell apart. Lisa reached the finish line and stopped her broken go kart thanks to Homer. Paolo lost his race again and decided to give up his race. He said when he lost his race: "Oh! I-a lose. This sport is stupid-o. And now I fade away to Ibiza to a quiet life as a beach DJ." Lisa thanks Homer for saving her from a fatal accident. As the episode ends, other racers crash while Homer and Lisa hugged together.
