Bartina is a feminine alias twice used by Bart Simpson, although with a totally different context each time.

Appearance[]

Bart's first "Bartina" disguise wore a red cocktail dress and a curly wig. His second usage of the alias saw him don a pink and white frilly dress, and a straight wig with a pink bow in it. On both occasions he wore false eyelashes

History[]

When Marge Simpson was arrested for shoplifting, Bart briefly fantasised about breaking her out of prison disguised as a cocktail waitress and wooing a prison warden, before knocking him out and stealing his keys. However, Marge talked him out of actually going through with this.

Bart would later use the "Bartina" alias for real, in an entirely different context, when Lisa attempted to hide from him in the girls' toilets with Sophie Krustofsky, as they were both competing for her affections. In order to follow them into the girls' toilets, Bart had to disguise himself as a girl, and entered claiming to be a new exchange student from Shelbyville, and attempted to strike up a conversation with Sophie. However, Lisa immediately saw through the disguise and she and Sophie both left. Bart then exited the girls' toilets but before he could change back into his real clothes, he was noticed by Milhouse who found "Bartina" attractive and asked "her" out on a date. Bart (which disguised himself as Bartina at the school building) agreed, intending to only go on only one date, just in order to get a free movie, and then abandon the disguise, however, he was spotted in the disguise by Nelson Muntz, who threatened him into regularly being a girlfriend to Milhouse, in order to keep Milhouse away from Lisa, who he also had a crush on. Thankfully for Bart, they broke up anyway after a few dates before Bart's disguise was discovered.
