Aerosmith is an American rock band.
History[]
The band appeared at Moe's Tavern after Moe began serving the "Flaming Moe" drink (actually the "Flaming Homer," renamed by Moe). Moe asked the band to come on stage and play a song, and although they were initially reluctant, he managed to entice them with the promise of free pickled eggs. Steven Tyler did not much geographic sense, yelling out "Hello Saint Louis!" before one of his bandmates reminded them they were in Springfield. They played "Walk This Way" and Moe helped out with the singing. They returned for a second night, and performed without Joey Kramer, who was in his trailer trying to stave off an amorous advance from Mrs. Krabappel, who had taken his drumsticks. Fortunately for Kramer, this spared him getting hurt, as a bitter Homer had barged into Moe's Tavern and placed himself atop the rafters akin to the Phantom of the Opera, where he exposed the secret of the "Flaming Homer". Homer then lost his balance and fell, where the entire band except for Kramer broke his fall. They were mentioned once more when Homer comes into the Moe's Tavern after it has become unpopular; the gimmickry of the "Flaming Moe" having burnt out. As Homer is drinking his own drink, a "Flaming Homer" served by Moe on the house, he wonders if Aerosmith will be here tonight. Moe looks around at the squalid bar and remarks "I doubt it, Homer".
Kramer would reappear (by himself) in "The Ned-liest Catch", when his prior encounter with Krabappel was referenced.
