This article is about a companion/ally who doubles as a mecha vehicle in Mashin Sentai Kiramager. |
Mashin Hakobu (魔進ハコブー Mashin Hakobū), initially the Gold Kiramai Stone (ゴールドキラメイストーン Gōrudo Kiramei Sutōn), is a golden twin-aisle aircraft-themed Mashin.
Overview[]
As a Mashin, Hakobu can fly at high speeds and perform high-speed aerial acrobatics, and in stone form, can manipulate parts of his body as large mandible cutters. Hakobu is the only Mashin other than Oradin capable of accessing the Atamald Sanctuary, a realm where Crystarians and humans live harmoniously. Forms the main body, wings, and head casing of Grateful Phoenix.
When he fell under Galza's corrupting ability, his green eyes turned purple.
Appearances: Kiramager Episode 28-37, 39, 42, 44-45
History[]
A former royal aide of King Oradin, Hakobu mentored him during his adolescence, and was vacationing on Earth when Yodonheim invaded Crystaria. Drowned with guilt over not being able to help Oradin, Hakobu remained unwilling to leave his island, and remained in a constant state of depression. Shiguru eventually convinced him by making him cry, much like how Hakobu sympathized with a saddened King Oradin.
During his self-imposed exile, Hakobu was in a constant state of depression that drowns out seemingly all of his other emotions. Because of this, he spoke in a rather cold monotonous manner and displayed comparatively robotic behavior. In his regular state of mind, Hakobu could talk in long monologues that leave anyone around him covering their ears until he stops rambling, but he also becomes more capable of displaying strong emotions, more evident upon Oradin's resurrection. Hakobu was also noted to be heavily sympathetic, one of his main methods being to cry alongside those he befriends.
Cargo Mode[]
Mashin Hakobu Cargo Mode (魔進ハコブー カーゴモード Mashin Hakobū Kāgo Mōdo) is a special form of Mashin Hakobu. In this form, Hakobu can dock the core 5 Mashin on his back, with Jetter above his nosecone, Fire over his main fuselage, and Mach and Helico nestled in his wings. As Fire takes up the majority of the space available, Shovellow instead docks horizontally, attaching to the base of the Fire Ladder.
