3 Snaps!! The Ballade of Betrayal (3スナップ!! 裏切りのバラード Surī Sunappu!! Uragiri no Barādo) is the fifth episode of J.A.K.Q. Dengekitai.
Synopsis[]
Goro becomes targeted when a woman in his life becomes an unexpected spy for CRIME.
Plot[]
In the morning, Karen and her tennismates saw Goro coaching fellow ISSIS agent Junko Koyama in tennis. As Goro is an expert to tennis, Junko is unable to manage her speed and agility. As complained by Goro, she is still have to improve and focus to tennis until she is tired. When she focused on tennis, she had been shot by a CRIME boss, injuring her left arm, making her to fall as Goro and Karen rescue her with his friends. He then chases the CRIME boss with his vehicle, as he jumped to the top of building, then snapping him with his hands. The CRIME boss then equips a gun, but halted by Goro as he got a CRIME rifle from him.
Goro then visits the hospital where Junko is hospitalized with Karen taking care of her. Karen explains about a bullet which shot on her shoulder. Goro claims that shooter is from CRIME. He thinks about a call from the HQ concerning Junko' condition. Goro and Karen come to Joker as he explained about last night when a spy got into records room. He claims that a spy had stolen Goro's medical records using the computer to open the time lock on the records room. Goro then clarifies that it was an inside job. Joker then shows the data to scan Junko's action inside the records room, with she hiding a camera inside the locker and used it to take photos of Goro's records. Goro can't believe that she's a talented agent, with Ryu answering that she must have been the target for their mission. Bunta says that she has to be interrogated to get back Goro's records. Meanwhile, the telephone rings and Ryu answers, then clarifies that Junko had snuck out of the hospital.
Inside CRIME's HQ, Crime Boss explains about Goro's medical records. He proclaimed that they can't get details of miniature atomic device on Goro's brain. Dr. Koyama asks Crime Boss that Goro's weakpoint is brain, as CRIME Boss predicts the plan to attack with concentrated heat ray, the atomic device will overheat, and Goro will die. Dr. Koyama answers no idea about that atomic device is located. The CRIME boss praises him as a world famous researcher on futuristic science, with Joker being a student of his research. He claims that is pointless and it would incredibly difficult. He would him to reunite with her daughter as soon as possible. Going to find for Junko, the CRIME boss commands his Crimers to search that entire neighborhood. At night, Junko is walking outside, the CRIME's vehicle lamp is lit, chasing her continuously, as she hid herself from the spotlight and calls for help. The Crimers then prepares to shoot Junko, fortunately, she was saved by Goro using Space Machine, and in tomorrow morning, he met Junko, and telling about her betrayal of JAKQ and her reasons. She said that Dr. Koyama had moved to Europe to pursue academic pursuits, and he disappeared while in Paris one year ago. Goro then asks Junko about her father, unexpectly, they saw CRIME with the partners Devil Wrestler. The CRIME boss then commences to attack them with Devil Wrestler then. He commands Devil Wrestler to find the miniature device of Goro, with Devil Wrestler casts heat ray to Goro, until it was rescued by Ryu and Bunta to return at HQ, with Karen takes her duty to protect Junko. As they had escaped, the CRIME boss says that JAKQ had ran away.
Encouraged by their stand against JAKQ, Crime set out on a daring crime space as the CRIME boss laughs manically. He believes soon the world will be being to CRIME. Iron Claw clarifies that JAKQ has Sky Ace and JAKQ Covack. Dr. Koyama then answers to Iron Claw about atomic bomb on Devil Wrestler. He then predicts that when they use JAKQ Covack at him, it will cause death to JAKQ with no idea. He then let Dr. Koyama to see his sister via monitor, looking her while playing a tennis. The CRIME boss realize that his sister is very charming.
Back to Goro's cyborg revitalization surgery, they recharge Goro's cyborg power to restore it to normal. He returns to Joker that his body was revitalized, as he clarifies that atomic device overheat can cause explosion. The Joker expects anything from Dr. Koyama about this, as he know all of top secret procedures. He tells Goro to not allow CRIME to use them for their plans. At hospital, Bunta hopes that Goro had been recharged, so they have to Strike CRIME soon. When Bunta is about to attack CRIME, he encountered an old man from Okayama who asking for Koyama. The old man carries the millet dumplings from Okayama as the souvenirs. The old man arrives to Junko's room, visiting her to ask where is her father is. As he leaves the hospital, he discarded the old man mask, and he revealed himself as CRIME member. Back to the hospital, Junko says that if they don't contact JAKQ, her father will die soon. Back to her memories with her father, when she wants her father to buy fashions and playing tennis with Goro. She came to Goro about her feelings with Goro in her pendant before she leaves the apartment. Goro chased it with his Space Machine, but it won't work. He found a culprit who hacks his vehicle. Soon, Junko comes to the scene where she met his father for the interrogation for exchange of items, such as microfilm of the blueprints. As they reunited, they exchanged the microfilm for CRIME, but that was a fake blueprint. Junko then escapes with her father, but her father unveils him to be a Crimer. The CRIME boss proclaimed that her father was taken by a hostage. She then shot by the Crimers as her actions for betrayal. Goro arrives, but her life has fallen to CRIME's scheme. She then dies on Goro's hands when a pendant opens about her memories with Goro. As Dr. Koyama was hostaged by CRIME, Goro is angry and he will avenge Junko's death. He then use Acceleration Switch to run faster to stop the CRIME boss, kicking the car's window, saving Dr. Koyama from CRIME's scheme. He then encounters Devil Wrestler once again with Jack, Queen and King arrives in the scene. They tell Goro to transform, forming JAKQ together as the cards flies into Devil Wrestler's chest. Ace then activates Acceleration Switch once more, stealing Crimers' weapon. Jack uses Electric Sword, King uses Club Megaton Punch, and Queen uses Heartcute with Magnetic Power to fight Crimers. He then battles Devil Wrestler once more with his speedy powers on, as the other came to him to execute Shock Kick to him, before executing him with JAKQ Covack, so Devil Wrestler was carried into a space with an atomic bomb.
In th end, while Goro is jogging, he remembers his past when he coaches Junko to play tennis. With Junko's sad memory, Goro vowed to keep running, while shouting in his heart that CRIME must be defeated.
