I Love Pinocchio (大好きピノキオ Daisuki Pinokio) is the fourteenth episode of Chouriki Sentai Ohranger.
Synopsis[]
The Ohranger become suspicious of Baranoia's involvement in the creation of a new line of helper robots that emerge to assist humanity.
Plot[]
Shouhei and Yuji head to a ramen shop with a supposedly addictive meal: the chihau special; Shouhei claims he won't be able to function if he doesn't eat this every three days! As OhGreen enjoys, the boy waiter tells "Pinocchio" that the customer likes it, revealing a large-set robot with a big nose taking the compliment; the owners stating that he's a hard worker as he quickly makes the meals within the shop by instruction and super-fast.
Shouhei soon brings to UAOH from a "21st Century Cyber Industries", revealing the "Pinocchio Robot" line, including the "Babysitter Pinocchio" for watching babies, the Nursery School Pinocchio for watching children, as well as the Home Tutor Pinocchio, the Helper Pinocchio and even the Baseball Pinocchio that can play all roles and throw a screwball! There's even the "Pet Pinocchio", a baby one that Juri shows desire for as the video ends stating the Pinocchio's are there for you from cradle to grave. Yuji states these Pinocchio robots are only in tests now and the Ramen Chef is part of the trial group, making Miura immediately see this as a Baranoia plot and to investigate thoroughly.
Arriving at a 21st Century Cyber Industries factory, the Ohranger watch over the Pinocchio's construction as an engineer states the "Ramen Pinocchio" is getting great reviews. Goro notices the "Hyper LSI" chip; asking where it came from, the programmer states he developed it; when Yuji asked if he got it from Baranoia, the programmer calls him ridiculous and states he's making Pinocchio's to help humanity. As they leave, Shouhei notes there are no weapons in them, but Goro still thinks the AI of the Pinocchio's is too advanced to be of human knowledge. However, Juri surprises everyone revealing that she had to take one of the Pet Pinocchio's for herself.
At the Baranoia base, Acha reports that the "Pinocchio operation" is a success and even how OhYellow has a Pet Pinocchio now! The royalty shows delight at trying to make their fad of the robots the next big thing as Bacchus Wrath states the Pinocchio army will eventually gain citizenship and be elected to National governor, maybe even a prime minister, giving them a means to control Earth; but Buldont still worries about the potential Ohranger in the way of the plot.
Goro continues to worry about the Pinocchio's being a Baranoia plot, but Juri doesn't see a problem with how her Pet Pinocchio always agrees with her and is adorable. Goro continues to doubt if the technology of the factory would be enough to make the Pinocchio units before they're suddenly attacked by an unknown assailant. OhRed and OhYellow soon encounter the villain as it runs into the shadows of a nearby rail line, shooting at them as it rushes through the trains until they reveal a machine assassin that continues to shoot at Goro and Juri until the other Ohranger arrive. The team transforms once united as the machine fires a beam towards them before escaping but with Goro shooting a King Blaster towards it before it escapes. The Ohranger continue to search until Momo discovers a cloak with the assassin's head, making the team worry about where it is until they hear the Ramen Pinocchio riding by on a bike, which Shouhei recognizes.
Returning to the ramen shop, Goro sees the Ramen Pinocchio and the owners changing it's battery, telling it to not overwork. Goro asks if they didn't see anything but the Pinocchio claims he didn't with OhRed doubting him; the ramen shop owner stopping them for accusing their robot of a crime and forcing the Ohranger out for the accusations. However, the Pinocchio overhears the departing Rangers, talking about how good his ramen is and the worries that he is a Machine Beast. The robot claims he has to be "more careful" before heading out to make another delivery; Goro asking Shouhei to scan the robot and not finding and gunpowder residue as the duo continue to pursue.
Meanwhile at Juri's apartment, Acha asks Kocha to call forth the Pet Pinocchio, the little robot stating that "his lord is calling" as it flies towards the butler. Acha states that OhRed is sticking too close to the Pinocchio prototype as they set up the little robot with a bomb to blow up the Ohranger's base, which it agrees to!
Later, Juri is stopped by security when entering the UAOH base, which she does as she heads inside with the Pet Pinocchio as it giggles under breath. Inside, Miura worries about suspicious activity; but Goro states they had set up a guard all night and Shouhei continues to proclaim Ramen Pinocchio's innocence. However, Momo notices the Pet Pinocchio with Juri, scaring Goro towards the garage to tell OhYellow to stay where she is as he notices the ticking time bomb within the small robot! Yelling at the guards to open the gate, OhRed throws the Pet Pinocchio away from the base, where it instantly explodes upon contact with the ground! Yuji yells at Juri for bringing a bomb to the base which she claimed she didn't realize and that Pet Pinocchio begged her to bring him.
Seeing the failure of the Pet Pinocchio plot, Acha decides they have to go all out to stop the Ohranger, adjusting the Ramen Pinocchio as Tsutomu notices it outside but with the robot suspiciously glowing from the adjustments. At the ramen shop, the owner worries about the Pinocchio not returning from a delivery and their son not coming home from searching for it, making Shouhei realize he may be at the factory.
At the factory,the Ramen Pinocchio revealed he was hoping to eventually be prime minister, but now it has to blow up the factory and the Ohranger with the secret out of his true nature. The Ohranger arrive and fight off the Barlo as Tsutomu yells for help; Acha yells at Pinocchio to "arm up" as it transforms, becoming it's true form of "Bara Pinokiller" and making Goro realize it was the assailant from before! Bara Pinokiller attacks the Ohranger, Shouhei leaping away but being trapped with the hostages as the Ohranger continue to be attacked. Tsutomu alerts Shouhei of the bomb set to blow, which erupts and forcing him to change to OhGreen to rescue everyone from the fire and explosions and leading to the others to transform likewise. The team uses the King Blasters and Battle Sticks on Bara Pinokiller and the Barlo, with OhRed breaking through a wall to save the hostages! Acha tells Bara Pinokiller to attack them, the team caught as the factory erupts around them until they rush everyone to safety. Bara Pinokiller and Acha find the team as the Ohranger face them down, fighting the Machine Beast united and pushing it back until the team combine their Battle Sticks hitting it on it's head before hitting with the King Smashers before they're repulsed back by a laser attack from it's hand. Summoning the Chouriki Mobiles, the team uses the Giant Roller Shoot to disable Bara Pinokiller, forcing Acha and Kocha to use the Enlargement Beam to grow it and the team to use Ohranger Robo. Bara Pinokiller and the mecha fight one another, the Machine Beast firing its weapons until they use the Vulcan Head and Chouriki Dogu Vulcan to destroy it's arm blades, then the Horn Head's Taurus Dive to disable it until it fires it's nose to try and damage it prior to the team finishing Bara Pinokiller with the Super Crown Sword, destroying it's nose before eliminating it with the Crown Final Crash.
At the ramen shop, the parents are working once again to prepare food as Shouhei waiters to help them out while Juri is depressed; Shouhei offers the food but is disgusted by how salty it is; further shocking OhGreen with how bad the soup is typically.
