This article is about a group of villains in Tensou Sentai Goseiger. |
- "We're the venerable leaders of the Yuumajuu! We've lived on Earth for millennia, you see. It's long been our dream to contaminate this world to better suit our constitution! Sapiens are very weak, you see. "
- ―Makuin of the Blob describing the Yuumajuu's goals.[src]
The Earth Condemnation Group Yuumajuu (地球犠獄集団 幽魔獣, Chikyū Gigoku Shūdan Yūmajū, Spectral Demon Beasts) are the second set of antagonists in Tensou Sentai Goseiger, that are the second group to battle the Goseigers with the intent of destroying Earth through pollution. Like their predecessors the Universal Annihilation Army Warstar, each one is named after a film-in their case monster movies-and their designs incorporate aspects of both land dwelling non-flying invertebrate animals and various cryptids while the kanji in their name is indicative of a Yuumajuu's specific abilities. The name Yūmajū comes from the Japanese title for the film Rise of the Gargoyles (U.M.A(ユーマ) 2010, Yūma Nisenjū), which in turn uses a Japanese term for cryptids akin to "UFO": UMA (ユーマ, Yūma, Unidentified Mysterious Animal).
History[]
Past[]
The Yummajuu are demonic cryptid-like monsters created by fusing demonic energies with ancient cryptids, monsters, and insects, born and lurking from Earth's dark forces. Approximately 10,000 years ago, they dragged people into the darkness and tried to turn the Earth into a poisonous planet, but were sealed away in the Erurei Box (エルレイの匣, Erurei no Hako) by the Goseigers at the time.
In 2010, Dereputa's meteor shower inadvertently exposed the Erurei Box as Buredoran secretly breaks the seal on it, freeing the Yuumajuu once more as they intend to pollute the Earth and make it into an ideal paradise for themselves. At the same time, Gosei Knight is reawakened in response to stop them. The Erurei Box is named after the film Hellraiser (ヘル・レイザー, Heru Reizā).
The Yuumaju leaders Makuin and Kinggon would free themselves and together with another Yuumaju they would present themselves before the new Goseigers, demonstrating their power by finishing them off without problems, but with the arrival of Gosei Knight, they would withdraw without first seeing how their Yuumaju grew.
In their hiding place, Makuin and Kinggon would argue because their creature grew, to which a Bibi Bug is revealed, its owner, Buredoran, calling himself Buredoran del Chupacabra, appearing and proposing to serve Makuin.
After many defeats, Buredoran gives Makuin the idea of using the Erurei Box against the Goseigers, but when they are going to use it, Kinggon betrays Makuin because he wants the box, to which after some events, the box ends up in hands of Buredoran, who reveals that he only used them to get to that moment. But when he uses the box it mysteriously explodes, revealing that the Yuumaju had no conflicts with each other, since they suspected of Buredoran and they hatched that elaborate plan. They have the real box, and to distract the angels while they escape, they throw the Bibi Bugs at Buredora as a sign of dispatch and leave, leaving Buredoran to die at the hands of the angels.
Makuin allows himself to be destroyed so that Kinggon locks him in the Erurei Box and using the Bibi Bugs they make him giant on top of a building, but the plan fails and Makuin is destroyed, an angry Kinggon becomes giant, but is destroyed anyway, ending to the Yuumaju.
