This article is about a monster in Choriki Sentai Ohranger. |
Bara Nightmare (バラナイトメア Bara Naitomea) is a brain/mad scientist/butcher-themed Machine Beast of the Machine Empire Baranoia.
History[]
Eleven years prior to Baranoia's invasion of Earth, Bara Nightmare was a defiant Machine Beast that had went against the orders of Bacchus Wrath. Before he could be executed, he escaped and fled to Earth, where he was able to indulge in his own desires. From then on over the next eleven years, Bara Nightmare would abduct little girls from their schools, trapping them in his dream realm while doing whatever he wanted with them with no repercussions.
Ultimately when Momo Maruo, Mayumi's best friend, and the first of his victims, became known to him, Bara Nightmare began to haunt her dreams as well, using the friend as a means to lure in Momo and trap her. After an initial encounter that Momo woke up from, she used U.A.O.H.'s technology to enter into the dream world and try to track down Mayumi and the assailant, ultimately becoming captured by Bara Nightmare in the dream world. The other Ohrangers quickly pursue and save Momo before waking her up, discovering that Bara Nightmare is headquartered in the school that he uses in his dreams. Reaching the school and discovering all the lost girls (having not aged a day since Bara Nightmare captured them), they fight and defeat the threat with the Choriki Dynamite Attack.
