Alpha 9 is the ninth model of the Alpha Series who assisted the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in their fight against the resurfaced Rita Repulsa.

Once & Always[]
As a result of Alpha 8's takeover by Rita Repulsa, Billy Cranston created Alpha 9 to assist him in experimenting with secondary connections to the Morphin Grid. This in turn, allowed them to create proxy Power Coins capable of duplicating currently active powers. Billy and Alpha 9 also worked on adjusting systems of the Sabertooth Tiger Zord so it can operate even in absence of the Yellow Ranger for months. In the light of Trini Kwan's death, though such feature was eventually unnecessary once Minh Kwan becomes the new Yellow Ranger later on.
