Reverse Mountain is a Dungeon in Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon in the Voidlands. It is listed as being a part of the Water Continent on Pelipper's Island and cannot be replayed story mode.
Summary[]
After the legendary beasts save the plan the Player, Partner, and Mawile, the declare that they plan to use them to aid their escape. Entei reveals he has discovered that Reverse Mountain is linked to the real world and is the key to escaping the Voidlands. Though the Partner is concerned about leaving the capture Expedition Society members behind, Mawile explains that the best thing they can do is escape and find a way to bring them back from the real world.
The group travels through the dungeon and get close to the summit, the discover more writing which reveals that there is an exit back to the real world, but it is guard by many Void Shadows. It also reveals that Dark Matter is connected to astrological bodies and if it destroyed, the world can be saved and all those turned to stone will revert to normal. Mawile determines Dark Matter goes through periods of activity and rest depending on the position of the stars and that it has been defeated before. The Pokémon of the past have prepared for Dark Matter's return and set up countermeasures such as the Luminous Water.
The Legendary Beasts order everyone to keep moving and the group soon reaches the summit. There, they discover there is the exit back to the real world can only be opened when the Void Shadows guarding it are defeated. The group then battles the Void Shadows which take the form of different Pokémon. After the Void Shadows are destroyed, the gate appears, but more shadows keep appearing and block the way long enough for it to close. Entei enacts a plan he made with Mawile and the Legendary Beasts blast away the Void hadows again while Mawile throws the Player and Partner past them in front of the gate. The Legendary Beasts reveal that they knew the Player and Partner had the best chance of saving the world and that they planned to get them back to the real world at all costs from the start, their earlier attitude was to disguise. The Player and Partner jump through the gate just before it closes while Mawile and the Legendary Beasts stay behind to fight the Void Shadows.
