Intimidate (Japanese: いかく, Hepburn: Ikaku) is an ability introduced in Generation III.

Upon entering the battle, Intimidate lowers the opponent's Attack stat by one stage. Prior to Generation VIII, if the user is in the lead spot of the player's party, the rate of encountering wild Pokémon whose level is at least 5 levels less than that of the user is reduced by 50%.
