Norman Osborn otherwise known as Green Goblin is the main antagonist of the 2000s Marvel Comics series Ultimate Spider-Man. He is a Barbaric supervillain and the arch-nemesis of Peter Parker and Miles Morales.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]

  • Before he became Green Goblin he was a corrupt industrialist who neglected his wife and his son Harry.
  • He tries to convince Spider-Man to give up and work for him.
  • He attacked Spider-Man when he was in school, injuring and possibly killing innocents.
  • He kills Otto Octavius when he has a change of heart by transforming into the Goblin.
  • He took the opportunity to kill Spider-Man when he found out the Ultimates are fighting the Avengers.
  • He broke out of S.H.I.E.L.D along other inmates and hijacked a helicopter to escape.
  • He entered into J. Jonah Jameson's home and forced him to do an interview about him and killed him when he shot him with a revolver.
  • He brutally beat and killed Spider-Man while enjoying it with a smile.
  • He pretended to be friends with the 616 Miles Morales in order to manipulate him to get what he wants, and when Miles tells him where his father is, he lies declaring himself to be his father.
  • He attacked Gwen, May and Peter when they were waiting for the ambulance.
  • He absorbed the Human Torch's power, knocks Johnny out and attacks Spider-Man.
  • While he did get affected by the serum he injected in the experiment, seeing hallucinations and assuming he sees "Plasmids" tormenting him, he still has moral agency as he can manipulate people, such as Miles, and the fact that he infected his own self because he saw Spider-Man do it and wants to be superior than Spider-Man.
  • He survived the destruction of the universe, continuing his evilness and thus getting away with his crimes scot-free.

What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]

  • Despite neglecting his son and abusing him, he still cares for him as it is shown when he accidentally killed Harry during his rampage, he felt remorse and asked S.H.I.E.L.D to kill him and when he cried in front of J. Jonah. Jameson over the death of his son.
