Lee Tockar is a voice actor and comedian in My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. His most prominent roles in the series are as Snips and Steven Magnet.
Tockar initially became involved with the series during a casting call for Snips and Snails. Alongside Richard Ian Cox, Tockar auditioned for both characters.[1] Some time after recording for season one started, Tockar was cast as Steven Magnet, who was unnamed at the time, and his portrayal of the character as flamboyant and "fabulous" was at the instruction of voice director Terry Klassen.[2]
Tockar's professional voice credits include Ripster in Street Sharks, Jon Talbain in Darkstalkers, Ravage in Beast Wars: Transformers, Lucid in X-Men: Evolution, the titular characters in Yakkity Yak and George of the Jungle, Bling-Bling Boy in Johnny Test, Doktor Frogg in League of Super Evil, M.O.D.O.C. in Iron Man: Armored Adventures, Inky in Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures, Pronto in Slugterra, and various supporting characters in Sabrina: The Animated Series, Sonic Underground, Martha Speaks, and the Barbie film series.
In live-action, Tockar had a guest role in The Outer Limits. He has also lent his voice to characters in Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation and Stargate Infinity.
Tockar is also the founder and CEO of FanBuilt Productions, the website on which Tockar has a podcast celebrating the animation industry and animators, writers, musicians, and producers collaborate on major projects and compete for prizes.
