Felicia Day is an American actress, singer, writer, and web series creator. In My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, she provides the voice of Applejack's mother Pear Butter.

Day first expressed an interest in being on the show in November 2015. In response to series animator/layout supervisor Stephanie Mahoney's Twitter post that Day "would be a cute pony", Day replied "I enjoy this ideaaaaaaaaaa!"[1] MLP director Jim Miller subsequently messaged Day with interest in making arrangements to have her audition.[2] Day's role in season seven was officially announced through a Discovery Family press release in March 2017.[3]

Outside My Little Pony, Day is best known as a creator and producer of web content. She is the star, writer, and producer of the 2007-13 web series The Guild; she starred as Penny in the 2008 musical web miniseries Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog; and she starred as a Fairy in the 2008-10 web series The Legend of Neil. In 2011, she created, wrote, and starred in the six-part web series Dragon Age: Redemption.

In television, Day played Vi in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Holly Marten in Eureka, Charlie Bradbury in Supernatural, and Kinga Forrester, the daughter of Dr. Clayton Forrester, in the newest incarnation of Mystery Science Theater 3000, and she has had guest roles in House, Dollhouse, Lie to Me, and The Librarians.

In other voice acting, Day has provided voice-over for supporting characters in Fallout: New Vegas, Generator Rex, Fish Hooks, Dan Vs., and We Bare Bears. She also provides the voice of Cynder in season two of the Netflix original series Skylanders Academy.
