Chantal Strand is a voice actress and singer in My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. Her most prominent roles in the series are as Diamond Tiara and her mother Spoiled Rich.
Strand initially became involved with the series through a casting call for Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon, and Twist; she auditioned for Diamond Tiara at the same time that Shannon Chan-Kent auditioned for Silver Spoon and Alexandra Carter auditioned for Twist.[1]
In previous generations of My Little Pony, Strand provided the voices of Tiddly Wink in My Little Pony Crystal Princess: The Runaway Rainbow and My Little Pony: The Princess Promenade and Starsong in My Little Pony: Twinkle Wish Adventure.
Outside My Little Pony, Strand has provided voices for characters in several animated series and films, including Nanami Simpson in Tico & Friends, Cassie in Dragon Tales, Sophie in ToddWorld, Gemini "Gem" Stone in Sabrina: The Animated Series, Molly in Generation O!, Rahne Sinclair/Wolfsbane in X-Men: Evolution, Lacus Clyne in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, Duchess Morbucks in Powerpuff Girls Z, McKenna in Care Bears: Adventures in Care-a-Lot, Valerie Velociraptor in Dinosaur Train, and various supporting roles in RoboCop: Alpha Commando, InuYasha, and the Barbie film series.
Among Strand's live-action credits are The Commish, Poltergeist: The Legacy, The Outer Limits, and the Air Bud series.
