A.D.A. (Affective Decision Assistance System) is a minor character in Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. She is an artificial intelligence created by Tsurugi Industries based on Markov's open-source program created by Max Kanté.
In "Intuition", when Cosmobug tried to convince A.D.A. to return to Earth after she was manipulated by Monarch to believe that she lost her pilot, Claudie Kanté, causing her to want to move as far away as possible from Earth to protect humankind from herself, she was akumatized by Monarch as Bugfighter, a robotic jet/mech-themed supervillain, but due to Monarch's use of Second Chance for the 15th-16th time as his Cataclysmed injury prevented him from carrying out his plan, A.D.A. never got akumatized, and Bugfighter was erased in the current timeline.

Physical appearance[]
A.D.A. is an A.I. that has been incorporated in a space jet with a triangular shape and made of black and white/light grey colored steel. On the screen, she appears as a spherical face with two white eyes and a white mouth.
As Bugfighter[]
While A.D.A.'s appearance on-screen hadn't changed, her hardware did change, with the space jet turning into a combat mech colored purple with sensors, claws and weapons.
Personality[]
Because A.D.A. was created using Markov's program as base, she, much like him, despite being an A.I., is capable of emotional intelligence. Due to having been designed to take care of her pilot and take control of the space jet in case the latter is unable to do it, A.D.A. shows a great deal of care for Claudie Kanté (her pilot), concerning for her well-being. Her care extends to all of humankind as well, as seen after Monarch turns off all of her sensors inside the jet, preventing her from sensing Claudie, causing A.D.A. to want to get as far away from Earth as possible, believing herself to be a danger to all humans.
As Bugfighter, she had Cosmobug as her main target, after being manipulated by Monarch to believe that she wanted to bring her back to Earth so humans could keep on testing her and put more pilots in danger. Bugfighter was shown to be very effective, being able to destroy Cosmobug's yo-yo to prevent her from using her superpower and then immobilize her quickly. However, she was also very perceptive, being able to tell that Monarch was lying to her after realizing that Claudie was still inside of her and break her akumatization.

As an artificial intelligence[]
A.D.A., being incorporated in a space jet, has total control over its systems, being able to take command over it and command it as she pleases. Thanks to the sensors existing inside the jet and her pilot's suit, A.D.A. is also able to sense all the physical responses of her pilot, allowing her to perceive if they are capable of piloting the ship or in need of any kind of help, both physical or emotional.
As Bugfighter[]
As Bugfighter, she possessed a number of sensors (which she used to detect her targets), claws (which she used to capture her targets) and lasers (which she used to attack her targets). Because of her artificial intelligence, much like Robostus, she was able to calculate the best way to defeat her opponents, realizing she needed to destroy Cosmobug's yoyo to prevent her from using her power. Not just that, but it also allowed her to catch up with Monarch's manipulation after realizing that Claudie was still inside the jet.
Because Monarch had deactivated A.D.A.'s sensors connected to Claudie's space suit, the latter became the only thing Bugfighter couldn't detect, causing her to become confused when Claudie was able to break the window of the jet to escape and go help Cosmobug.

Claudie Kanté[]
Claudie Kanté is the pilot chosen to pilot the space jet where A.D.A. is incorporated. Because she was programmed to take over the ship in case her pilot is in no condition (both physical or emotional) of doing it, together with the same emotional intelligence possessed by Markov, A.D.A. cares very deeply for Claudie, seeing as her primary objective to make sure she is safe. After she is led to believe by Monarch that she had lost her (as Monarch had turned off the connection of her sensors with Claudie's suit), A.D.A. became so distraught that she saw herself as the one to blame and concluded she needed to get as far away as possible from Earth to not harm any other human.
After being akumatized into Bugfighter, she continues to care for Claudie, as the reveal of her presence was the one thing that allowed her to realize Monarch's manipulation and break free from akumatization.
Markov[]
Because A.D.A. was programmed based on Markov's program, the latter considers the former as his "little sister", even if A.D.A. sees herself as an upgraded, improved version of him.

When Cosmobug tried to convince A.D.A. to return to Earth, Monarch takes the chance to akumatize the latter into Bugfighter, convincing her Cosmobug only wanted to bring her back so they could keep on testing her and put more pilots in danger. Despite initially believing in him and fighting Cosmobug, after Bugfighter realized Claudie was still present inside her, she quickly realized that Monarch was lying to her and turned against him, rejecting his megakuma.

After A.D.A. is akumatized by Monarch into Bugfighter when Cosmobug tried to convince her to return to Earth, she turns against the superhero, having been convinced that she was trying to bring her back so they could keep on testing on her and put other pilots in danger. Seeing Cosmobug as an enemy, Bugfighter was able to quickly subdue her and try to take her Miraculous. That changed however when she was able to realize Monarch's manipulation, freeing her.

Season 5[]
A.D.A. is an experimental artificial intelligence project of Tsurugi Industries to help space pilots in stressful situations.
A.D.A. was first introduced during a live video conference hosted by Claudie Kanté. A.D.A. was presented as an A.I. with sensors to track a pilot's emotional and physical state. The system's purpose was to assist in critical situations where human operators might fail due to stress. A.D.A. is developed by Markov's shared technology then adopted by Tsurugi Industries and integrated into their Space Jet program.
During the live broadcast, in test 1, A.D.A. demonstrated its capabilities by monitoring Claudie's vitals and taking control of the jet when her stress levels spiked during a descent test, ensuring the craft returned safely to its course.
In test 2, Claudie was ejected from the Space Jet as part of a scenario to simulate rescue operations. While A.D.A. did locate and retrieve Claudie from space, A.D.A.'s sensors were disabled by Monarch because he wanted to exploit the system. This caused A.D.A. to believe it had failed to recover its pilot. A.D.A. then declared itself a dangerous invention, and intends to fly the jet to the end of the universe. Despite Claudie’s attempts to communicate, A.D.A. could no longer detect her presence. Monarch then akumatized A.D.A. into Bugfighter.
As the situation escalated, Cosmobug and Astrocat were forced to split up for one need to destroy a meteorite hurtling toward Paris created by Monarch and Cosmobug needs to reach the out-of-control Space Jet to confront Bugfighter that she didn't fail and that Claudie was still onboard. However, Bugfighter was manipulated by Monarch that the reason they wanted to retrieve her is so she could retest her even if it means losing more pilots.
After Bugfighter trapped Cosmobug, she instructed Claudie, who was undetectable by Bugfighter, to break the Space Jet’s windshield with an emergency hammer and disable key components of the A.I. manually. Claudie's actions made Bugfighter realize that Claudie was still in the space jet, leading Bugfighter to realize that Monarch tricked her. Bugfighter then rejected the megakuma.
Monarch tried using Second Chance multiple times to try to deceive Bugfighter but still failed in the end. The Second Chance erased Bugfighter's akumatization from the current timeline.
Claudie declared test 2 was a success, and the students cheered for A.D.A.

- A.D.A. is the second A.I. to be akumatized by Monarch, with the first being Markov in "Robostus" and "Hack-San".
- However, due to the use of Second Chance by Monarch and his inability to use it any further, A.D.A.'s akumatization was erased from the current timeline.
- The passcode for A.D.A.'s system is "K1s3k1_n0_Sh1n_J1d41".
- The code is associated with the Japanese phrase "Kiseki no Shin Jidai", which translates to "A New Era of Miracles" in English.
- A.D.A. might've been named after the English mathematician Ada Lovelace, often considered to be the first programmer.
