In the year 1987 it was rumored that Khan Noonien Singh was active in the pro-democracy movement of South Korea. (TOS novel: The Rise and Fall of Khan Noonien Singh, Volume 1)

Kelvin timeline[]

According to Khan Noonien Singh, in September 1992 Augment Dictator Verity Cheng annexed South Korea into the East Asian Union. By 1996, South Korea was part of the Pan-Asian Resistance, which had overthrown Cheng. (TOS - Khan comics: "Issue 2", "Issue 3")
