The Whiskered Eggplant is featured in Challenge mode, and it is required for Waluigi to use his Star Skill, the Liar Ball, in the mode. The item costs 200 coins to buy from the Yellow Toad at the shop, where it is only available if Waluigi is on the player's team.

The Whiskered Eggplant has the appearance of a purple eggplant but with a mustache on it akin to Waluigi's.

It is said that anyone who touches it “loses their lunch”.
