Spiked stones are a hazardous object which appear in Yoshi's Story.

Spiked stones consist of an angry stone face and a protective golden, spiked armor on the top and bottom.
In Yoshi's Story[]
Spiked stones only appear in the first three levels of the final page: Mecha Castle, Lift Castle, and lastly Stone Castle. Each of them are carried by a Black Shy Guy. If a Yoshi approaches a Black Shy Guy, it releases the spiked stone it is carrying. If a Yoshi touches a spiked stone, he loses some petals from his Smile Meter.
