Physical description[]

Balloon Bullies are large, light blue inflatable balloons found in mechanical crates and ? Bubbles.

Behavior[]

If a Yoshi fires an egg at a Balloon Bully, it expands into a balloon-like creature with a log on its head.

In Yoshi's Story[]

Three Balloon Bullies are encountered; two in Surprise!! and one in Lift Castle. An expanded Balloon Bully can allow a Yoshi to reach otherwise unreachable areas or items. While a Yoshi is standing on a log on the Balloon Bully, the player can control the Balloon Bully's movement using the Control Stick. If a Yoshi leaves a Balloon Bully's lift, it remains stationary for a few seconds, then slowly sink to the ground.
