Hiders (ルハイド Ruhaido?) are enemies that appear in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.

Physical description[]
Hiders are slim, blue ghosts with a long tail. They also have a stronger variant, known as Strong Hiders.
Abilites[]
Hiders have the ability to hide in furniture and throw various objects at Luigi. When found out of the item hiding spot, they will flee to another piece of furniture. Despite Hiders having only 15 HP, they have high speed.
In Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon[]
A group of Hiders stealing the pinwheel vanes in the Courtyard of the Haunted Towers.
Hiders debuted as enemies in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. They appear as common ghosts found in all mansions, including ScareScraper. Their most notable role is in the Haunted Towers, in the mission, The Pinwheel Gate, where five Hiders steal the pinwheel vanes, forcing Luigi to capture them all and retrieve back the vanes.
In Luigi's Mansion Arcade[]
Hiders return in as enemies in Luigi's Mansion Arcade, appearing in the Gloomy Manor and the Treacherous Mansion. They behave in the same manner as they did in Dark Moon.
Trivia[]
- In Luigi's Mansion 3, yellow ghosts known as Oozers, are comparable to Hiders, although Oozers are much more aggressive than Hiders.
