The Beetle Whisperer, known as Scarab Nabber in Europe and Australia, is one of the bosses appearing the ScareScraper of Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.

Physical description[]
The Beetle Whisperer is identical to a normal Slammer, but has a yellow coloration instead of dark red. He is also much larger in size.
Personality traits[]
Not much is defined about the Beetle Whisperer's personality, other than that fact that he acts hostile and aggressive, and is quick-tempered.
Powers and abilities[]
The Beetle Whisperer to summon Beetles, and create a red shockwave by clapping his hands. He can also use paranormal shields.
In Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon[]
The Beetle Whisperer can be found randomly on any fifth floor, barring the top floor. When he appears, he'll have a paranormal shield that needs to be broken before depleting his health. He'll also summon Beetles during the battle, as well as normal Greenies and Strong Greenies, or ones equipped with swords and shields. The Beetle Whisperer's hit points range from 300HP, 400HP or 600HP, depending on the set difficultly.
The Beetle Whisperer also has several different themed variants that can also be found. These include Cold Catcher, a Slammer wearing a parka, hat and gloves. Sun Flower, a Slammer covered in sunflowers. Aweberry, a Slammer has a strawberry. Scars, a Slammer dressed as a zombie. Lady Gug, a Slammer as a ladybug. Clown Fishy, a Slammer resembling a clownfish. Footbrawl, a Slammer wearing a football helmet, based of the sport, American football. Finally, Banegal, a Slammer based of the banegal tiger.
