Kung Fu Fighting[]
Everybody is kung fu fighting,
Your mind becomes fast as lightning
Although the future is a little bit frightening (a little bit frighting)
It's the book of your life that you're writing
You're a diamond in the rough,
A brilliant ball of clay,
You can be a work of art,
If you just go all the way,
Now what would it take to break?
I believe that you can bend,
Not only do you have to fight,
But you have got to win,
Everybody is kung fu fighting,
Your mind becomes fast as lightning
Although the future is a little bit frightening (a little bit frighting)
It's the book of your life that you're writing (life that you're writing)
You are a natural,
Why is it so hard to see?
Maybe its just because,
you keep on looking at me
The journeys a lonely one,
So much more than we know
But, sometimes you've got to go
Go on and be your own hero.
'Cause everybody is kung fu fighting, (kung fu fighting)
Your mind becomes fast as lightning
Although the future is a little bit frightening (a little bit frighting)
It's the book of your life that you're writing (life that you're writing)
You're a diamond in the rough,
A brilliant ball of clay,
You can be a work of art,
If you just go all the way,
Now what would it take to break?
I believe that you can bend,
Not only do you have to fight,
But you have got to win,
'Cause everybody is kung fu fighting, (kung fu fighting)
Your mind becomes fast as lightning.
Although the future is a little bit frightening (a little bit frighting)
It's the book of your life that you're writing

Trivia[]
- In preparation for scoring the film, Hans Zimmer visited China in order to absorb the culture, having the privilege of getting to know the China National Symphony Orchestra as part of his preparation.[2]
- Zimmer was originally announced as the main composer of the film, but during a test screening, DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg announced that composer John Powell would also be contributing to the score. This marked the first collaboration in eight years for the two, who had previously worked together on DreamWorks' The Road to El Dorado and the action thriller Chill Factor.
