WARNING! |
Ijincheon vs. Jintae Yang is a fight between the Executioner of the Silver Forest and the villain, Jintae Yang.
Prologue[]
Amid the Battle for The Torch, Jintae's Gang and Vendetta head towards its location in to steal it but they meet a swordsman. The swordsman takes the time to scold Jintae for his disrespectful actions in taking the One Hundred-Sided Blade and killing his master, telling Jintae that the blade must be weeping in shame. An annoyed Scar tries to attack the unknown swordsman but is nearly killed by a tap from the swordman's blade while smashing his previous location.
The strike is barely stopped by Jintae, who is thrown across the street. The villainous swordsman then tells his gang and allies to back off. A worried Sapphire tries to rebuke but is interrupted by Jintae who asks them if they can't feel it.
The outrageously tamed-down power that the swordsman holds within him. Jintae remembers the same feeling he had after meeting the Smiling Man and remarks that the swordsman's presence is trying to make itself known despite his intention to keep it contained. Further noting that he's far better than his late master and perhaps as strong as the Four Swordsmen.
Battle[]
Jintae accepts the challenge and attacks, but all of his strikes are easily repealed by the swordsman. As Jintae backs away, the swordsman comments about how he's too dependent on his shard but possesses incredible talent. The swordsman wishes how he had as much natural talent as Jintae, maybe then he wouldn't have lost anything if that had been the case.
Jintae gets ready to use Torrential Bind, but the swordsman recognizes it and unleashes his technique which defeats Jintae instantly before he can do anything.
Aftermath[]
Now on his knees, the swordsman prepares to finish the young Villain off but stops his attack as Sapphire stands in the way. A wounded Jintae tells her to move but she refuses as she rather be together in death than not see him accomplish his dream. Seeing this, the swordsman is annoyed that even garbage like Jintae has someone who loves him to the extent of dying for him commenting to himself about how life is never predictable.
Hearing that she hasn't died the swordsman takes out a knife and orders Jintae to slice his eyes with it. The swordsman briefly explains that Jintae will suffer excruciating pain until he dies, but he's allies will be spared as Jintae obeys. With his Gift barely healing him, a blinded Jintae asks who the swordsman is but is rebuked by him that they won't even have a chance to exchange words the next time they meet. Jinate, smirking while blood drips from his wounds, states that he'll look forward to that.
