Story Impact[]

• Hero Killer, in her hero disguise of Kasha, is assigned her first mission as an officially recognized hero for the Hero Clan.
  • She settles in Nostra, the corrupt city of Heroes and Villains and is tasked by Engen to target the district's heroes and weaken their forces.
  • Ihwa reunites with Lyca, her friend from the Hero Trials and meets her senior/partner, Shell Knight.
• Ihwa, as Kasha, meets Pitbull one of the corrupt heroes of Nostra. She kills him in a drunken rampage and sets it up as an attack from a villain.
• The Four Swordsmen, the four strongest and greatest sword masters in the world, are introduced. Their membership include:
  • The Skysword of Yerim
  • The Executioner of the Silver Forest
  • The Last Knight of Rhodos
  • The Knight Commander of Avaarin
  • Yushin is revealed to have been a previous member of the group centuries ago before his defeat and crippling by the Skysword .
• Shell Knight deduces that Kasha is the one responsible for Pitbull's death. While the disguise villain feigns ignorance, Shell Knights proposes an alliance between them.
  • Shell Knight raids the hideout of one the corrupt heroes and kills him, but the heroic swordswoman is killed by Farza, a hired mercenary.
  • Farza attacks Ihwa/Kasha. He destroys her Condor's Sickles and shows that he is a master of the One Blade - Thunderous Slash.
  • The mercenary suddenly retreats and Ihwa remembers what Yushin taught her about the technique and his brief encounter with the Executioner, a legendary swordsman. She concludes that Farza must be a former student of the Executioner.
• Chain reappears once again and is revealed to be in the run from the Hero Clan and their assassins, the Black Hand.
  • The clan froze his resources and causes Chain Logis to go bankrupt.
  • He asks Hero Killer for some help and funds to get back on his feet. He becomes her ally in protecting Nenya.
• Ihwa, as Kasha, meets Office Staff and his brother Rezo Gold-Blood the leaders of the Gold-Blood Gang.
• Shell Knight is mourned by Lyca and the citizens of Nostra.
  • Metal Giant and Sting X appear at her funeral and Ihwa/Kasha promises that'll meet again.
• Prim Anville calls for a Meeting of Elders, an official meeting between the members of the Elders.
• The Master of the Clan is officially introduced. He is revealed to be the founder of the Hero Clan, the greatest organization of Gift users in the world.
• Only four members attend Prim's meeting as the other members ignore her summons.
  • Prim tries, in vain, to ask her fellow Elders not to go through with their plans for the future incoming war.
  • Prim and Victoria get into a fight with each other, but the fight is a pretense as Prim wanted to talk with her without Bishop.
  • Prim tells Victoria that she saw a figure assumed to be The Steel Witch in her journey to found The Line.
  • Bishop and Master of the Clan officially prepare for incoming war between their factions.
• Galeramdt Garagh, a member of the Four Swordsmen, is introduced and he is revealed to be the right hand of Victoria.
• Lyca confronts and attacks Sting X for his role in poisoning Shell Knight which led to her death, but she is defeated by Metal Giant.
  • Ihwa/Hero Killer arrives and kills Sting X.
  • She uses the One Blade - Thunderous Slash for the first time in a fight as she kills Metal Giant instantly.
• The Nameless arrive in Nostra and meet up at Ihwa and Nenya's apartment.
  • Hero Killer meets Bagna, the son of Nugal, the legendary villain and former subordinate of Engen.
  • Farza tracks down and attacks Ihwa in an attempt to kill her.
  • The Nameless, along with Chain, battle against the mercenary and he retreats.
• Chain explains an abridged history of Nera, the War of Inheritance, and the War of the Reeds to Ihwa.
• Engen's earlier history and youth are briefly shown.
• The King of Nera is introduced and his life story is explained by Chain.
• Islotta Rainfall, Chain's late wife, is introduced.
• Ijincheon, the father of both Hero Killer and Yeon, is formally introduced.
  • He nearly kills Jintae Yang but spares the villain's life due to Sapphire's willingness to die for him, instead, he forces Jintae to blind himself.
  • Days later, Ijincheon meets Engen outside of Nostra. He warns the Smiling Man should his plans bring about Ihwa's death or cause her great harm, he will crush his ambitions.
  • The two legends clash but leave each other alive.
• Engen arrives in Nostra and the Nameless gather to discuss their next plans.

Trivia[]

• When Hero Killer got drunk and killed Pitbull, she set fire to building and describe a "Fire-wielding" villain being responsible without knowing that she would eventually meet Bagna.
• This arc is the first one to feature a total of 13 OST songs, the highest number in the series.
  • This also marks the official transition of artists as MZ who had been making music for the series since its debut three years ago is succeeded by Sulhwa who assumed the position of contributing original music for the series.
