— Ijincheon on his strength. |
Ijincheon is an extremely dangerous man and a master swordsman of outstanding power as the one who inherited his late master's title as the second Executioner and a member of the Four Swordsmen. While he was the weakest one amongst the previous Executioner pupils, his perseverance in the face of being extraordinarily untalented along with having one in a billion lack of skills never deterred him from wanting to become a powerful swordsman.
This sign of wanting strength is what enabled him to survive and overcome his inabilities when trapped in the Sword Purgatory. By the time he was in year one thousand and his emergence from within the void, Ijincheon's strength had reached that of his late master.[1]
He went on to establish himself as a member of the current Four Swordsmen aside from the Skysword and is considered to be the most unpredictable amongst them. His prowess as a combatant in his hobby of collecting swords from defeated opponents was great enough to earn him the epithet of the "Sword Hunter", aside from his title as the Executioner.
His dangerous reputation is capable of putting individuals such as Dalia Mendoza on edge with just his appearance alone. Jintae Yang once remarked that he felt an outrageously tamed down power and presence within him that was far stronger than his late master [2] and Highnoon remarked on the "pressure" in the air around him.[3]

Physical Prowess[]
Master Swordsman: Ijincheon is one of the greatest swordsmen in the world, being recognized as a member of the Four Swordsmen. His strength, ability, and prowess are the result of spending over one thousand years fighting and "training" within the Sword Purgatory, a realm filled with souls of swordsmen driven mad by the desire to perfect their skills.
By the time of his emergence, he had already surpassed his late master and was able to take the last sword strike of his master's spirit. Even before being sent to the strange void, he was able to crave and engrave his name onto the cliffside of the Silver Forest despite it taking a year for him.
Master Combatant: Ijincheon is a warrior of the greatest heights and caliber, having honed and developed his skills from an eternity of fighting against incalculable swordsmen spirits during his time in the Sword Purgatory.
Ijincheon's ability with the sword is so great that he can fight and kill his opponents with just the sheath without even drawing his blade. This was hugely evident during his fight with Jintae Yang in which he also showed a familiarity with the Ancient Sword Technique of the Flowing Blade's techniques and identified Jintae's weaknesses as well as his swordsmanship talent just from observing him. In a single showing of one technique, he easily defeated and nearly killed the villainous swordsman.
Superhuman Strength: Ijincheon possesses equally great physical strength, capable of creating devastating shockwaves just by swinging his sword. He was able to overwhelm the likes of Jintae, despite his powerful physical might, with little to no effort and held back Engen's Hell's Sañjīva with one arm later knocking it back.
Superhuman Speed & Reflexes: Ijincheon is inhumanly fast as he's capable of disappearing from the eyesight of others without anyone even noticing him despite his large frame. This is especially evident whenever he is performing one of his techniques. His reflexes have also been honed to the very pinnacle which was impressively shown when he brushed off Jintae's attacks as if he was taking a stroll through the street while pushing the villain backward and was able to retreat from Engen spreading Hell in a second.
Indomitable Will: Ijincheon, in a similar fashion to his daughters, holds an indomitable force of will within himself. Born without an ounce of talent for swordsmanship, his natural tenaciousness empowered him to never once give up on his desire in wanting to become a powerful swordsman. This was first shown when he unflinchingly drew his sword against his master fully knowing that he might've died. And once again when he was trapped in the Sword Purgatory's endless void of white, having been able to maintain his sanity and pushed himself to inhuman heights of determination as he spent thousands of years repeatedly fighting.
