Max, or more commonly known as Max the Sheepdog, is a supporting character in the Little Mermaid franchise.

- He's very friendly towards his owner Eric and to Eric's girlfriend-turned-wife Ariel.
- He bites Ursula, which plays a role in ruining the wedding.
Why Doesn't He Stand Out?[]
- Aside from biting Ursula, he doesn't do anything heroic and even then, it's unlikely he knew the essence of what he was doing. That means he fails the admirable standards to other characters.
