Lord Duke (also known as The Duke or just Duke for short) is one of the characters in Disney's 16th full-length animated film of 1959, Sleeping Beauty. He is King Stefan's fussbudget, but well behaved, majordomo.
In his official appearance in Disney Princess Enchanted Tales: Follow Your Dreams, he was voiced by Jeff Bennett, who also voiced King Hubert in the same film and also voices Trusty and Jock in Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp's Adventure, as well as Geppetto.

- Despite his position as majordomo, he remains loyal to King Stefan and Queen Leah and wanted to make sure all the castle staff performs accordingly to Stefan's rules of the kingdom.
- In his possible cameo appearance as the herald in Sleeping Beauty, he announces the arrivals of King Hubert, Prince Phillip, and the Three Good Fairies.

- He assists Aurora in ruling the kingdom until Stefan, Leah, Hubert and Phillip returns.
- He advises Aurora to stick with dealing with the redheaded farmer who wanted more chickens.
- He attends Aurora's banquet, along with Stefan, Leah, Hubert, Phillip, and the Three Good Fairies.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- His heroic actions are too standard, preventing him from passing the admirable standards and causing him to fail to Prince Phillip and the Three Good Fairies.
- Despite being a loyal majordomo, he can be prone to being cowardly, clueless, pushy, and paranoid, especially when he doubts Aurora that they'll never read the forms despite Aurora constantly telling him that they will get through it all.
- He can be an accident-prone head servant when he accidentally falls down to the castle moat, falling with a bookcase, and being head-butted by a cow.
