Isabella Garcia-Shapiro is a major character in the Disney XD animated series Phineas and Ferb. She is the leader of her best friends, "The Fireside Girls", and she also has a crush on Phineas Flynn.
She was voiced by Alyson Stoner, who also voiced Lydia in Milo Murphy's Law, Opal in The Legend of Korra, and Sam Sharp in The Loud House andJenny Brown.
Isabella is sweet, caring, determined, and also very helpful, always spending her time getting the Fireside Girls to help Phineas and Ferb with their projects.
Isabella is sympathetic and aids people who are in need of help. This has been demonstrated when she showed concern for Candace, who was too nervous to call Jeremy and ask him out, when she snapped Phineas and Ferb out of their hypnotic dullness, and when she stopped telling Phineas her feelings about him to help Ms. Feyersied.
Being a Fireside Girls Troop Leader, Isabella is a very capable leader. She is level-headed and responsible in the face of emergencies and dislikes being told what to do by anyone, with the exception of Phineas.
As nice as Isabella would seem, she can also get angry. One way her temper has been flared is when someone else uses her catchphrase; in such a scenario, she expresses annoyance and often confronts the violator physically. However, she is fine whenever Phineas uses it.
Another is when she isn't a subject of attention. Isabella enjoys attention, she openly displays discontent when she feels she isn't receiving enough of it. She has shown this when Phineas expressed seeing Meap as cute but not her, and when her Li'l Sparks men-tee, Melissa, showed Candace more attention and admiration than she did with her.
Physical Appearance[]
Isabella is a slender girl with long waist-length black hair with blue highlights and a round bottom and dark blue eyes. She wears a pink sleeveless knee-length dress with a dark purple belt, a white t-shirt, tall white socks, pink shoes with white laces, and a bright pink bow on her head (her default outfit is similar to that of Helga G. Pataki). She also has a slight lisp. She is the Mexican-American girl as talking quietly of spanish languages in Mexico.
Other Incarnations[]
In addition of mainstream Isabella as detailed in this page, Phineas & Ferb series introduced other incarnations of the character, be it Isabella's own lookalike, ancestors, and alternate interdimensional counterparts. Following alternate Isabellas introduced in the series are:
Victorian Era Unnamed Isabella Lookalike[]
A young girl who resembles Isabella mentioned in "The Monster of Phineas-n-Ferbenstein".
She is first seen near a pond when Platypus monster (oversized Frankenstein-esque platypus resembling Perry) approached her seemingly with malicious intent. However, the two instead have fun together until the latter makes his leave for entering the Best Monster Contest, though she understably disgusted from seeing him eating raw snails. Sometime after informing Dr. Phineastein and Ferbgor about things she and their creation did together, she later joins the Contest itself, relieved to see them reunited with the Platypus monster.
2nd Dimension Isabella[]
Main article: Isabella Garcia-Shapiro (2nd Dimension)
This Isabella is a battle-hardened soldier who have involved in the constant war against the more ruthless 2nd Dimension Doofenshmirtz until our world's Phineas and Ferb's involvement where they finally put the end of the war and freed Tri-State Area from the dictator. While in terms of personality, this Isabella is tough, no-nonsense, and down to earth as result of Pinky's disappearances and the war, but this form of personality only displayed in the battlefield, as in her normal life, she is not so different with our dimension's Isabella.
Isabelock[]
“
Whakka tuka'?
„
~ Isabelock's catchphrase
Isabella's prehistoric ancestor from "Tri-Stone Area". In addition of appearance, both are cheerful, sweet, caring, and doesn't like it when others say their favorite catchphrase. Her life is not different than her modern day counterpart/descendant as well, visiting her crush Phinabunk and enjoying him and his brother and friends in spending their summer at its fullest with inventions among other things.
Princess Isabella[]
Isabella's lookalike from (possibly) alternate 1542 China.
She is the ruler of the Tri-Province Area under the guidance of Regent Monogram. To her chagrin, due to Doofus Khan's threat, she couldn't spend her spare time playing with youths around her age. One day during a parade, the princess is unexpectedly kidnapped by Doofus Khan in order to prevent Regent Monogram from countering the Khan's attacks. Fortunately for her, Doofus Khan didn't take the account of her rescued by Phineas and co. who previously trained under the tutelage of Master Perry and later, counters Khan's dragon robot with theirs that made of terracota.
After the battle, she has the remains of Phineas and co.'s terracota robot to be repurposed as materials for constructing Great Wall of China.
Isabel the Water Sprite[]
“
What art thou doin'?
„
~ Isabel's catchphrase
The water sprite incarnation of Isabella from the fictional story of Excaliferb. She serves as a hovering guide to Phineas' party for the eponymous mythical sword. She is also the leader of Watersprite Girls, Fireside Girls' water sprite counterparts in the story.
Isabella Garcia-Shapiro (1914)[]
The namesake iteration of Isabella from Phineas and Ferb and the Temple of Juatchadoon. In her admission, she's a femme fatale, ingenue, amateur archeologist, Damsel-in Distress licensed tile and grout installer, and "Dirty Double Crosser" (the last indicated that she's no stranger to shady business). Isabella helps two archaeologists Ohio Flynn and Rhode Island Fletcher (1914 counterparts/ancestors of Phineas and Ferb) in finding the fabled Temple of Juatchadoon where her mother New Hampshire Garcia-Shapiro disappeared. When they finally reach it, the whole trip is all a trap; Ohio and Rhode's rival, Doofenshmirtz, had reached the Temple first and that Isabella is working for him albeit reluctantly because the villain holds her mother hostage. Just as things go south for them now that Doofenshmirtz attains control over his prize, Corn Colossus, the group are saved by Agent P, the platypus agent of SOKWCA (Secret Order of the Knights Without a Cool Acronym) which possibly precursor to OWCA, and together, they stopped Doofenshmirtz's evil plan.
In the aftermath of the fight to stop Doofenshmirtz, Isabella make amends with Ohio and Rhode over the whole thing.
Isabella Garcia-Shapiro (1903)[]
The namesake iteration of Isabella from 1903 debuted in "Steampunx".
Much like her counterpart, she always starts her visit with her friends by asking what they are doing. She briefly suggests that she and Phineas start formally courting together.
Isabella Garcia-Shapiro (Lost in Danville Dimension)[]
The namesake alternate reality Isabella from the titular dimension observed by Phineas and Ferb in "Lost in Danville".
The one and only Pilot Isabella is the rival to the legendary pilot Han Solo, with a name to match Millennium Falcon with Centennial Chihuahua. Their bitter rivalry started from their encounter in the Kessel Run, where Han Solo cut her off and snatched the record for "completing the Kessel Run in just 12 parsecs". She had a deep connection with her Centennial Chihuahua, just like Han Solo has with his Millennium Falcon, and chastised Phineas for tinkering her ship. In the hour-long episode, Phineas, Ferb, Candace, Baljeet, and Buford are saved by Isabella, who helped the Alliance destroy the Death Star, and the innocents aboard the Death Star were saved by the Fireside Girls. Isabella kisses Phineas at the medal ceremony.
