Heroes who, even in death or having an unknown fate, continue to influence characters of stories. From beyond the grave, their presence is still being felt by others, be it in the form of flashbacks or in noncorporeal forms. Any action that they committed when they were alive has a lasting impact on the world. This could also include those who have died at some point during the story, but their actions have left a permanent mark.
