Analysis

Rina joins in chapter 26 with horrendous base stats, comparable to Esther's base stats while joining far later. Her power in particular is atrocious, especially as her base weapon level is so low that even Iron Swords are out of her reach, and thanks to a 10% power growth it will struggle to get any better even though she has Elite. She does have a 40% magic growth which would allow her to use Thunder Swords to bypass her poor power, but due to her poor weapon level she will on average need 18 levels to even use them, and even then thanks to her 0 base magic she still may not deal enough damage to one-round. Rina does have one strong point however: she has 9 base movement, which after a promotion puts her at least 2 ahead of any other mounted unit, and a 10% movement growth as well. Even when dismounted, her mobility is better than most infantry units. As such, if you have a deployment space to spare, you can field Rina as a designated errand girl to grab chests, villages or to buy stuff at a shop. She'll still be prone to getting ORKO'd, but if the threats are dealt with, you won't have to commit a more useful unit to get those side objectives.
