Viscount Fenja is a character from Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. She is a minor noble of the Adrestian Empire and supporter of the former Duke Ludwig von Aegir.

Profile[]

Fenja shares a distant blood ancestor with Viscount Menja, who also supports Ludwig, but whose child has chosen instead to support Edelgard.

Scarlet Blaze[]

When the Imperial army prepares to attack Fort Merceus where the deposed Ludwig is stationed, Fenja appears before Ludwig and offers to support him and bring on board as many other lords in the region as possible. She hopes that if the duke can put a stop to Edelgard's army, she will gain a prominent position in his cabinet when he becomes emperor.

During Ludwig's last stand against the Empire at Fort Merceus, Fenja assists him in the defense but is slain in battle.

Azure Gleam[]

During a battle between the Empire and Kingdom at Ailell, Fenja is captured and held as a prisoner by the Kingdom army. After some questioning about the former Duke Aegir, Dimitri orders her back into confinement. From the answers she gives, she has at least some awareness of Those Who Slither in the Dark due to witnessing Thales exerting his influence over Edelgard.

Personality[]

Viscount Fenja is a self-centered member of the nobility whose decisions are based on what she personally stands to gain. Her enthusiastic choice to side with Ludwig stems from her belief that doing so will grant her a prominent role in his government despite his overt corruption and allegiance with Thales. Upon her defeat in Azure Gleam, she surrenders immediately and offers herself as a cooperative witness for questioning in the hopes that doing so will grant her release, only to protest when she is ordered back to confinement once she has answered Dimitri's questions.

Etymology[]

Fenja and Menja are Jotunn mentioned in Grottasöngr.
