Holyja (ホーリジャ, Hōrija?), also known as Holy IV, is a recurring ability in the Final Fantasy series. It is commonly a powerful ability usable by summoned monsters and the strongest holy-elemental spell.
Appearances[]
Final Fantasy XII[]
The Esper Ultima uses Holyja as her ultimate attack during the battle against her inside the Great Crystal. The spell does massive holy-elemental damage and causes the Reverse status. The Quickening Concurrence, Luminescence, is visually similar to this spell.
Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings[]
Holyja is the summon attack of the Esper Zalera. It deals massive non-elemental damage in an area centered around a chosen target. In addition, the Judge of Wings uses it in the two boss fights against her inside the Keep of Forgotten Time.
Final Fantasy XIV[]
Holy IV is used by Ultima, the High Seraph during her final boss encounter in the Orbonne Monastery raid. The attack summons multiple circular fields underneath random players, attempting to deal unaspected damage to those who fail to run out of the fields in time.
Final Fantasy Dimensions II[]
Holyja is the summon ability of the Affechon and Minwu eidolons. The ability deals light-elemental damage to all enemies. Minwu's version costs 2 bars from the summon gauge to use, and Affechon's version requires 3 bars for Aemo to perform.
In the original free-to-play versions, Holyja could be used by the Affechon, Minwu, Hope, and Pumpkin Witch eidolons.
Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia[]
Final Fantasy Record Keeper[]
Holyja is a rank 6 White Magic spell that deals five strong holy-elemental attacks to a single target. To craft the ability, players are required to obtain its ability record by purchasing it with Record Rubies, which can only be obtained by progressing through Torment and Dreams end-game dungeons. It also requires White, Holy, and Ice Crystals to craft.
Holyja is also a summon ability for the Lakshmi magicite, serving as her strongest normal attack. When Lakshmi randomly enters combat, she deals a single massive white magic holy attack to one enemy. Her version naturally breaks the default damage cap. In addition, Lakshmi also uses Holyja during her magicite boss encounter.
