Terra Homing (テラホーミング, Tera Hōmingu?) is a recurring ability in the Final Fantasy series. It is the trademark attack of Madeen or Eiko, which deals massive Holy-elemental damage to all enemies.

Terra Homing is the ability of Madeen, Eiko's ultimate summon, which inflicts Holy-elemental damage to all enemies with a spell power equal to 71 + Eiko's Level (see here for damage formulae). It costs 54 MP to cast and is learned for 120 AP from the Ribbon, which is obtained as part of the story at the bottom of Mount Gulug.
Terra Homing can be made to deal 50% more damage by equipping Eiko with Magic Racket, Mage's Hat, Flash Hat, Jade Armlet, Light Robe, White Robe, Angel Earrings, Maiden Prayer, or Rebirth Ring. Equipping multiples of these items at once does not stack.

Terra Homing is Eiko's EX Ability gained from the passive ability, Memories with Mog. Eiko summons Madeen and conducts Terra Homing. After usage, Eiko is granted Double White Magic buff, which also turns her HP Attack into Double Holy.

Etymology[]
Terra" is the Latin word for "Earth". It is also present in some Latin-derived languages such as Italian and Portuguese.
"Its namesake and being the signature attack of Madeen likely refers to the Buddhist concept of the buddhakestra or Buddha realm, where it is said that when one who has reached enlightenment and has transcended to become a bodhisatvva or buddha themselves, they then gain the ability to create their own realm, transcending the cycles of life and death and allowing a transcendental place for the faithful and pious to take refuge to aid their enlightenment. More fearsome and protective deities are said to have realms of severe intensity said to manifest their duties to purge spiritual impurities and tame evils.
